I responded to this already, but it got deleted or something...
AWESOOOOOOME!! I can't wait for Ico/SotC Remake or TLG, I read an article and saw a video about it. At least it will be perfect when it comes out.
Also, did you see the videos of Ammy in Marvel vs Capcom 3? She is awesome!!

Yes! I watched the Ammy video after reading the news on the Ico/SotC remake. I can't believe how many moves she has! She's definitely going to be the character I use the most, besides Dante and Chris Redfield.

Yeah! For me, it'll probably be Ammy, Ken, And we'll see who else comes along that I like. Speaking of Ken, Super Street Fighter IV is incredible. My neighbors both got it and it kicks ass.
And did you see the remake video for Ico? Oh my god it looks amazing. One Detail I love is the fact that they only improved the backgrounds and framerates, and didn't try to mess with the characters themselves, such brilliance. I would have been mad if they altered anything about the characters. When do they come out?

The remakes will be released in 2011, though no one knows the exact month. Yeah, it seems that they removed the filter and changed some of the lighting, but the characters look only a tiny bit sharper. It's a Team ICO "tradition" to make the characters stand out from the background. I also heard that they are thinking of getting rid of the ugly American boxart (good riddance!) and they're going to add in the extra ending to ICO that the European version got. Wooo.

Damn, I wish they had a month for it, I need to own it!
Yeah! this is how I wish all remakes were done, not tampering with perfection, just improving apon it. The characters in that game looked incredible, and your right, it does make them stand out.
They better! The case art for Ico was god awful in america. The Japanese art is so much better. And I hope they make some sort of team Ico PS3 theme, that would be an awesome Dynamic theme.
And Pichubro, have you checked your PS3 recently?

I'll probably be before the holiday season, or at least before TLG's release. That, or they'll be released at the same time probably. Well, if they don't make a theme, I'll download a wallpaper from the internet and put it on my PS3... Actually I could do that tomorrow. I probably will. Yeah, I added you to my friend's list yesterday. It was a fun surprise for me!

I wish it would come out early, so I could own it and cherish it with the originals. That, and so we wouldn't have to wait. It is worth waiting for though.
Yeah, indeed, but a full theme would be even better, of just like a scene from the game, with the trees blowing and stuff.
Yeah! I know! Imagine how I felt! I didn't know I was buying it until an hour before it happened, I litterally almost fell into shock, like, for real. I made good on my promise though, and added you first before anyone. :nigga:

Yeah, that'd be nice too. Or maybe a scene of Yorda and Ico sleeping on a save point. What games are you getting first?

YEAH! I was thinking something like that as well!
Well right now since I'm broke, it is in essence a big PS2 for me, but my neighbors who convinced me to get it are lending me games, MGS4 for my brother, and a digital copy of Marval vs Capcom 2 for me. I'm not playing it much right now though, since I'm playing birth by sleep right now. But the first game I'm probably gonna buy for myself will probably be Littlebig Planet. That, and I wanna borrow Assassin's Creed 2 from my neighbor as well eventually.

How DO PS2 games run on the PS3? Good? Bad? I heard that some games don't work as well on the PS3, that they lag or sometimes the graphics downgrade. Great. Tell me when you get LBP; I'll play with you. Its pretty much the only online game I have.

I only tried FFX and it worked fine. I heard only the 80GB has that problem do to the partial emulation thats involved in the Gen 1 80GB Backwards Compatibility.
Yeah! I defiantly will! That game is a lot of fun on two player.

I see. We should build a level together. I suck at doing it myself.

I'm not that good at levels either, but we'll figure it out and come up with something amazing.
Ahh, I can't wait to play that, and Assassin's Creed, and Marvel vs Capcom, and all these other games with you. And dare I think it? Network 2 Player Ico?

Oh yeah, I should be getting an email soon from Gamestop for my AC:B beta code. I can't wait to start assassinating people online. I might not get Marvel vs Capcom 3 during the first day or week of release, but I'll definitely get it by summer 2011. Can't wait to beat up people with Ammy. I'm not the best at fighting games though. And online 2nd player ICO would be the most awesome thing ever. I know that Team ICO likes the one-player experience more, but surely they can fit this online feature into the game? I know that the PAL version of the PS2 game had local two player... It'd be hilarious if they kept all the bugs from 2 player mode in the remake though, like having Yorda die by accident. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQGGHvk9Y7g) ... It's probably bad that I laughed at that video. But it's like she was suddenly sucked into a black hole and it caught me by surprise. Hahaha

Sweeeeet, that sounds amazing. You pre ordered brotherhood?
Yeah, I'm not buying any game right when it comes out, I wait for price drops, and for when, you know, I have money. I didn't like fighting games either until just recently, now I'm starting to like them. And besides, Marvel vs Capcom 3 will have a feature built in just for you, Simple Mode. It's a simplified control scheme built for people just getting into fighting games to make it much easier.

And I doubt network multiplayer will happen, but it is something one can dream about. And I wish I could see the video, I'm sure it's amazing.

Yep. Pre-ordered it about a week ago. Simple Mode? Sweet. They need that mode at arcades. The last fighting game I played on a home console was Street Fighter Alpha 3 on the PlayStation... Ah, 1998. That was a great year for gaming.

Awwwesome.
Ahhhh yes, 1998, What a good year indeed. Pokemon RGY, MGS1, FFVIII, and I think one of the Zeldas came out that year as well. The last fighting game I actually owned was Street Fighter 2 plus Alpha, and Mortal Kombat 2. Other than that I've not had much experence in the genre until now, since I've been playing a lot of Super Street Fighter IV and Marvel VS Capcom 2. Now I'm getting good, since now I'm starting to understand the stratagies and such.

So I just saw a new video of AC:B and you get to drive Leonardo's war tank! (among other war machines) And it seems like the Brotherhood has more stealth missions than the previous games.
November can't get here fast enough.

I don't know what I think about the tank, but I love the stealth aspect, sneaking is fun
Yeah, thats for sure

Yeah, sneaking around killing people is the best part of Assassin's Creed. Though I do love the occasional shoving a guard into a crowd every once and a while. Then I just beat them up with a hoe.

I always have cool plans, like when I had to kill this one guy practically in plain sight, and I scattered money right in front of a hareld and had a big group of people basically surround him and the guard and killed him in the commotion.
I'm awesome at the stealth elements, but I suck at the Parkour.

Post by pichubro on Oct 7, 2010 1:18:58 GMT -5
I'm pretty good at the parkour, though I did notice that Ubisoft changed the parkour from the first game. It seems a lot less rigid from the first game and I love how fluid it can be at times.
I think my favorite "kill" I've ever done was when a guard was chasing a pick-pocket, and I was running right behind the guard chasing the same pickpocket and as the guard was jumping from the roof to another roof, I quickly sprinted and jumped off the roof, "landed" on the guard (who suddenly fell to his death) and I literally rolled off of him and landed on the nearest roof. I stood there quite perplexed as to what had happened, and for the life of me I can't repeat it.

Yeah, it is quite robust, I just have a lot of trouble actually executing certain stuff I wanna do, like when I want to get to a certain practical route, but Ezio decides on his own that a much flashier move would be fun and makes it impossible to get to the foothold I want.
Wow, I can't even wrap my head around that, ha ha ha. I haven't been able to experence anything like that in my time playing, since thus far I've only played sparingly since I don't have my own file yet

Yeah, that happens sometimes.
I know, I wish I had a camera or something taping but I had no idea that that would happen. I have so many weird things happen to me in this game. Hahaha
