I wasn't even playing on Normal mode... I guess I'm just used to Assassin's Creed where the stealth is all about the height and speed, whereas Metal Gear Solid is all about laying low and ducking around corners. >_>

Yeah, a lot of factors come into MGS stealth, guards hearing, vision, the environment(noise objects and blending into background colors) and many other aspects. Compared to AC stealth, it is way more complex and real. You can like jump and land loudly next to them and they'll somehow miss you.
They pull off Plain sight stealth better, since they actually get a chance to do it.

Yeah, I learned the hard way not to shoot mice for fun.
I like the fact that AC uses the crowd for stealth, which was much more hilarious in the first game because Altair could only hide in a group of scholars, and while they were dressed in all white like Altair was, it was totally obvious that he was covered head to toe with weapons and the guards never seemed to notice. Hahahaha The stealth was actually harder to pull off in the first game, and that's a minor complaint I have with Brotherhood. It's too easy to lose the guards. In the first game, you literally had dozens of guards chasing you almost every time you were spotted and hiding spots were a lot less frequent. Plus, Altair really didn't have any ranged attacks until late in the game, and he was a lot less dexterous than Ezio. No air assassinations (unless by accident, which happens) and no ledge kills either. Altair was really a gung-ho face-to-face fighter and was more about punching annoying beggars in the face.
At least, that's how I played the game. :3

Ha ha ha, you'd have more fun in MGS3, except if you have the misfortune of having the random video of him eating the mice later.
Yeah, that style of stealth is a lot of fun in it's own way, and it's hard to pull off, but they somehow do it perfectly. I just wish it was much harder to get rid of noteriety. I wish dyeing your clothes was a way of getting rid of noteriety. And all the other actions did a lot less, like, a poster maybe does 5 or 10 percent, bribing a harald would maybe get 20 or 25, and killing witnesses would only work if done stealth. If it were less easy to become incognito, it would be much harder and better. Plus, the Crossbow feels like such a cheat with how easy it is to use with stealth, like you can aim it at a guard while he's investigating you and he won't be alarmed by it. Plus, your quiver is huge, and you can't even see it, and yet the harder to use gun has only 6 teeny tiny rounds it can carry. If you think about it, it should be easier to carry 25 tiny metal balls then 25 long arrows. The capacities should be switched.
I heard AC1 was way glitch prone and inferior, like way too repetitive and stuff. Plus Altiar seems more annoying as far as being a shallow character. Also, there should have been more weapon options. That gives you way more to do and more you can do. I just liked that game in theroy as a technological advance
Speaking of glitches, I got two huge glitches you would be proud of me for, your skill is rubbing off on my a little. The first one was how I randomly had Ezio glow. You know how he lights up at certain points when you switch armor or something? Well he glowed similar to that, except it was just in the middle of a mission for absolutely no reason. He just glowed for a while, like a minute or two. It was crazy. Then earlier today, we got the second one. My neighbor was on playing on my file, trying to find a way onto the Castel Sant'Angelo so I could parachute off it, and he was rowing a boat through the river, and found someone riding a horse on top of the water that should have been on the bridge. He just rode around in the river for a while and we just followed him around. We were gonna take a picture so you could see, but then he fell though the water, it was sad.

AC1 was one of the first games of its kind, so yeah, Ubisoft had problems with it; especially with making the AI of the crowds to work. But graphically, AC1 looked the most polished and the storyline was a lot more simple and more of Altair questioning why he was killing Templars in the first place. He basically spent the whole game confused by how similarly the Assassins and Templars seemed to be (i.e., most of his targets thought that they were creating a better world by killing off a few unwanted targets).
Hahahaha "it was sad" is probably the funniest thing I've read all day. I guess my Jesus horse invaded your game. xD

And I throw money to beggers, because I have enough to give Minstrals though, they get no mercy from me. You literally couldn't do that in the first game, because Altair was a broke. The beggars would run right into your face and force you to stop walking and then repeat the same five dialogue lines. You could then either punch them in the face (making guards jump you) or you could try escaping by climbing the nearest wall. And then the beggars would throw rocks at you for ignoring their pity party.

It sounds so childish and simple. I mean so is killing out of revenge, but at least it gets deeper over time. I liked some of the features involving NPCs, like the headswap thing, where the members of any crowd were randomly generated with different heads, torsos, legs and arms from different sets, so every single character you encountered was different. It didn't feel like ACII had that, although ACB seems like it may have it.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, it was! And you have a Jesus horse!??!?!

That ACII video I've been meaning to upload is of my horse getting stuck under a bridge in Forli and since it was standing on water, I named it my "Jesus Troll Horse". I thought that JTH had died when the game shut down, but now I see that he was just wandering around and found a way into your game.

WHAAAAAAAAT!?!?!
He truely is divine!!! I wonder who was riding him. Maybe it was regular Jesus in a red disguise. Maybe he'll fall back into your game again soon
We'll have to watch for Jesus sightings!

Ha ha ha ha ha, yeah it would. And I'm sure he would get interesting reactions from people
Machiavelli: Why are you glowing? Ezio: 'Why is he glowing!?' Fa i cazzi tuoi!
I wish I could speak italian. Then I could be like Ezio and say things like that.

Imagine Leonardo's instintive inventor reaction.
"Ezio! How are you doing that?!" "Um... I don't know?" "It's amazing! Please tell me how you did it!" "Uh... I took a bite of the Apple?" "... WHAT?"

And then his mom's reaction. "But I can control people now!" "No, Ezio, the apple was not meant to be eaten. Haven't you read the Bible?!" "... I was busy." "Busy with what, girls?" "More or less..." "You told Father that you read it every night!" "I read about Noah's Ark..."

Why are we not rich yet? We need to somehow hack and produce a DLC patch for the segement of lost time where Ezio eats the apple. It would be the best chapter of the game.
Although, I don't think I would want to see the end of the chapter, when the Apple makes it's painful return.......................

Wow............................
Just damn...................................
Thats pretty insane.....................
Also, something was brought to my attention that I forgot about. Theres a downloadable on PSN called the MGS Database. It's basically the downloadable PSN version of Wikipedia, except for only MGS everything. It's everything. Any possible topic from the main canon minus Peacewalker, you can look it up and read EVERYTHING about it. I spent like 2 or 3 hours just now reading through it. It's like a giant digital book, but it's an interesting read. It basically makes it so you understand every connection between every character, it's crazy. I'd suggest reading it after playing the series though, and when your in the mood to read A LOT. Otherwise there is a real risk of your brain lighting on fire.

Yeah I saw that on the PSN. I was debating downloading it, but then I realized I only knew stuff from MGS1 and 4 and my brain would shut down after probably 5 pages.
