God of War above FFX? God of War on the list at all?
Other than that, there are some things I might change on my list that I agree with on yours, like Ocarina of time above Metal Gear Solid. Also, still never played Chrono trigger, theres a lot of games on these lists that I want to play for the first time, finish, or play again, I just wish I could find them or own them in any possible way

I don't like it, it feels so mindless, repetitive, and boring. It's just so needlessly violent, and swords on chains? Thats just lazy.
The other day I handed Colby's 1 year old little brother the controller when colby was playing, and he played with the controller randomly pressing buttons and was able to fight just fine without dying. So that game is LITERALLY easy enough for an infant to play.

Nice, again, should try it
Also, what should we set as the cutoff as too new? No new game can be objectively judged right until it has withstood a small test of time. I think about 1 year old, any other suggestions?

im thinking about playing shadow of colossus. i only played like 15 minutes of it ever, but from what i saw it clearly deserved at least #20 for being the most artistically impressive video game other than ff7 that i've ever seen.

You won't regret playing it. I remember when I first saw Toonami review SotC, and I was like "I'm gonna get this game!" and I got it for Christmas but I couldn't play it until nighttime because I had to entertain my grandparents all day so I stayed up all night playing it. The ending left me staring at my TV in suprised awe. SotC's ending is definitely one of the most memorable endings to a video game I've ever played.

Btw, though the screenshot is awesome and all, I recommend not aiming an arrow at Avion when he's that close to you because he'll hit you. Hahahaha xD

Well, you would need the arrows to get it's attention. (Or you can whistle at it) Just that if he's THAT close to you, you won't have the reaction time to dodge or to jump onto him. You'll just get wing-attack'd.

It's a music rhythm game, mostly to techno music. But not only is it harder than GH, there's no stupid controller made just for the game. It's easy to play, but fun and challenging at the same time. Also, you can remix the songs during freestyle mode. Freestyle is a great relaxer after trying to beat songs on expert. I WOULD still play the game, but it's a blu-disk and after about 3 hard months of playing my PS2 like "NU-UH! NO MORE BLU-DISKS FOR YOU!" So FreQuency and my other blu-disks became unplayable. But I have good memories of FreQuency and the songs are catchy.

Damnnn
What was the deal with the blu disks? I remember RPG Maker II and Gauntlet Dark Legacy were on Blu disks, why are they such a pain in the ass to run? Do they have higher capacity or something?

I'm not sure actually, but a lot of my favorite games that I never got to finish were blu-disks... Like Okage: Shadow King

Yeah, wasn't ICO on a blu disk too? I wish I knew the difference, I don't know what to look up to find it
I remember I had few really good games on blu disk too, they always made my PS2 make strange noises, they don't work on my system anymore because I spent hundreds of hours playing RPG Maker II, my humble beginings in the game making world.

Hey, can download-only games count? I'd like to nominate Bit Trip Beat for being extremely fun and challenging at the same time. At thing most games lack today. ;D
