What!? I thought it was in June that it started! Oh god! Thats waaaaaay earlier than I expected, jeez! I really hope I'm ready in time, shit!
Noooow I'm a teeny bit worried. And I just thought it would be cool riding to school together, it's no big deal. I just hope this miscalculation doesn't make a problem now.

19 days to get my licence, and get everything I need. That may be possible, I hope it is. I just need to make sure OVR rushes this along. I can barely get by as long as I have a licence I guess

Oh yeah
I did, but their computer system was down, so I couldn't technically register. I did however talk to the special needs advisor, and he gave me a good gameplan, and we have a follow up meeting set up for tuesday after next, we're hoping by then the computer system is back up, so I can be registered. We're looking at the Summer 1 and 2 math course right now, the one that extends over both sessions, so that should be interesting. All I need to do now is make sure I can have either my licence or a ride by then. It's 3 weeks, so it is reletively plausable that I could have my licence by then, it's all in OVR/the DMV's hands. So it's a longshot, but it's plausable.

just have someone drive you up. cant dylan drive you up in your car, you use it and then drive back?

Post by Mario the black knight on Apr 30, 2011 23:24:42 GMT -5
No one can drive me in my car, since it's illegal until I get my licence and insure it.
Besides, Dylan is working like crazy right now anyway. I was gonna ask Justin, since he's not doing anything ever. Maybe his mom too. I'm just hoping I don't have to resort to my backup plan at all and just have my licence and car.

Well, in the summer it's just gonna be the single math course, then in the fall, I'm gonna let my counseler give me some advice on what I should do to get started. Depending on how my summer semister goes, I'll decide on just how much I wanna take on, I'm probably gonna schedule 2 classes in fall now, then if I have a chance at the end of the summer, if I think I can handle more, I'll go full time.
And how tough are they?

But as far as my personal choices for my Fall classes if they fit into the parameters of what I need to ease into class, I'll probably take Writing Comp 1, dunno if you took it and know if it's hard or not, and some math class, I always want to have one Math or math related course so I can keep fresh and remember it all.

you'll be able to handle more than 2 fall classes god damn, especially since you're not working or anything. a full 5 class schedule is very manageable.
english classes obviously were easy for me. it depends on the professor. if you get someone who is strict with grammar and mechanics you're gonna have a lot of work to do, but since you can write coherently you'll have a leg up on more than a few people.

what math class exactly

Yeah, the mechanics and all that shit sound easy, I mean what are the assignments like, more open ended topics, or really stupid boring topics. And as far as handling 5 classes, you have to realize I haven't had a coherent, normal schedule in 3 years. I have been doing nothing for a long time, so getting used to existing among the normals and you know, doing work, will be tough.
For summer, the 011 class. I need it before I can start taking the Calculus I need for C++ and stuff.

So nothing but IT and Law now? I'm assuming that class on Tuesday after Law is another IT?
It looks easy, besides the whole work thing.
I still don't get why your taking those two classes, your not doing anything related to either of them.

I'm just easing in, depending on how summer goes I may do more, and I plan to add more each semister.
I'm just going by my advisor's/psychiatrist's/OVR's suggestion and easing back into the college format.
