Ha ha ha ha, thats just awesome.
God, I want that game so much, I want a PS3 so I can have that game. ARRRRRGH!!!!!!!!1
Whens E3 this year so we can know when to find out the official release date of that game.
God, looking over the world in that game, it looks like an even better version of the ICO world, like the castle and all. It makes me wish even more that the remake could be made so it can all look even better than it used to. Its just such a perfect world.

It's coming out in November last time I heard. TLG is going to be released in America before it is released in Japan.
Which would explain why the other two games have less content...

Wow, goddamn, thats crazy! Why would Japan Studio not release in Japan first? Not that I'm complaining, Ha ha ha.
We will probably end up getting shafted on some sort of extra content though, although in this day and age, hopefully those extras could eventually become DLC or something, it would be better than not getting them at all.
I'm still hoping to see that Ico/SotC rerelease, I won't give up hope!
Sounds stupid, where and why did you find those?

Hahaha, I don't know why, but that's just the way they do things. Yes, DLC would be great. Hopefully it's either very cheap or free as well. My teacher brings up the weird kanji, not me... She thinks some kanji is sexist ._.

Yeah, thats odd
Indeed, I wouldn't complain about a few bucks for some awesome extra features in the game, I think it definatly would be worth it
Damn...I hate stupid things like that.

America and Japan are the top two countries of video game sells, so I think it should be fair that Americans can get any extra content that Europe and Japan got later.

Yeah, I agree, Having regional specials are unfair, getting or not getting something just because of where you live isn't fair.

Rerelease is our only hope for now.

You know what would be cool? If every time you restarted TLG, there would be a random scenario generator. Especially since you can't control Toriko, it would provide interesting challenges and higher replayability.

So like, do you mean there would be different stories each time you played, and it would be different every time?
I think that wouldn't be as good as a classic story like ICO. Although it would be fun, like as long as your first playthrough is always the same story, like Silent Hill, so theres one definitive canon, but there are other ways to play at the same time. That would be the best of both.

No, it would be the same story. There's a scene in the trailer of crossing a falling bridge and the boy and Toriko swimming underwater. What if you replayed the game the and the bridge was already broken? You'd have to find another way around and solve a new puzzle or something to get past guards.
I think it would be interesting. Kinda like Heavy Rain, except no drastic changes to the storyline.
... Unless, you were able to kill off Toriko and have the storyline change from there.

Ohhh, so random puzzles, but same story
I think that would be awesome, and even maybe have small parts of the story be changed based on puzzle changes, but no actual story differences, that would be a great idea.
And Toriko can't die, because puzzles would be impossible, and it would be too sad for me to take :niggasad:

Yeah, I wouldn't let him die no matter what. My adventure would be meaningless without him!
Though that's not to say Ueda won't try to pull at our heartstrings. Oh... the ending of SotC... I'll never forget the first time I saw it.

YEAH! If anything happened to Yorda I would feel terrible, she's my favorite princess type character to save now. And Toriko will be awesome to play with too!
Ahhhhhh!! I need to beat Ico so I can beat SotC!! I haven't played in like 2 days now, I should soon

You don't need to beat ICO to beat SotC. I certainly didn't.
Technically, SotC takes place before ICO.

Well, I just beat ICO tonight. I love ICO, I honestly am considering it as a top 10 spot, maybe a number 5 or 6. Everything about it is incredible, except the queen isn't the hardest boss, but I loved almost every single second I played that game, from start to finish.
I love when the music plays at the end, the final cutscenes when the music plays, it's so cathartic, and yet it gets you to wonder whats happening still, its so incredible right to the last second. It was unbeileveable.
I'll be continuing SotC soon, probably by the end of the week.

I read somewhere that the end boss was supposed to be hundreds of spirits of the horned children attacking ICO all at once but apparently the PS2 couldn't handle it. Hahaha

Well there was a part like that, it was actually pretty creepy, like you were in the chamber where you start out, and theres this group of horned spirits standing around a petrified Yorda, but it isn't really a fight, because they run away from you if you advance towards them with the special sword. They creep up and try to attack you, but the minute you turn around, they run. And the way they move is so awkard and creepy. It only had about 4 or 6 onscreen at a time, but they just kept spawning for a while, it really did feel like you were facing a bunch at once. It was a great sub boss sort of thing, I just wish the AI was smarter like the standard enemies. It was a creepy lead in.
The presentation of this game was just outstanding. The characters could speak volumes without saying a word, like some of ICO's facial expressions could say everything that needed to be said. And Same with Yorda, just with the tone of her voice you could tell everything you needed to know. And just certain aspects about the final battle, like how shocking it was actually was to see blood when ICO lost one of his horns, that little bit was shocking enough to set the really dark tone nessesary for that fight. And how alone you feel in the final level without Yorda by your side, and how rough the terrain is. It really feels like you know this can only end one way, and thats in a final conflict, you don't care about anything except finishing off the boss, the final conflict is unavoidable, kind of like the Final Egg in Sonic adventure, it just has that amazing final build up, you just know it's on. That for me is what creates an incredible game and a perfect ending.
