Theres 3? I thought there were just 2
Hell yes! Thats why we're the best. I heard a funny story from my neighbor the other day. He said one of his friends posted a thing on Facebook asking if he should buy a PS3 or an Xbox, and his mother responded, telling him that she would disown him if he bought an Xbox. All his friends talked about how much they love their PS3s as well. Anicdotes like that make my day.

What is Acendance? I saw a thing about it like 2 weeks ago, and wasn't sure what it was, weither it was a new game or if it was a DLC.
Ha ha ha ha ha, yeah, it sure sounds like it. I would like to meet her and congratulate her on her awesomeness potentially.

It's a short prequel movie. That's all. Still DLC though.

Ohh. Right. Interesting. I'll have to look it up.
The fact that theres so much DLC makes me think the developers are being a little lazy, and they may have rushed Brotherhood out early or something.

Well, I think I can understand some reason why they did it. The Copernicus DLC is a PS3-exclusive, so that was a marketing tool paid for by Sony. The prequel movie is there for those interested and stuff. And the multiplayer was really glitchy at first, so I'm sure that they had long nights just trying to fix everything, and adding a multiplayer map and a new alliance mode was probably a reward for the game being so successful even though it would spazz out sometimes.

I guess so, that makes sense. And the Prequel is an interesting enough idea, I just hope it's free too.
I can understand Multiplayer fixes too, one can never fully test the capacity of an online mode, there are just too many variables. It's always bound to be extrodinarily glitchey. The key is regular maintainence, like MGO gets pretty regularly, once a week, they check over the servers and stuff. I guess that makes sense to me now. I should really remember to download this movie if it is indeed free.

The prequel is $1.99. Which is why I haven't downloaded it. Not sure if that's a smart move on Ubisoft's part, but, then again, it's a business. And they gave us everything else for free. Yeah, Ubisoft might've underestimated how many gamers would get online to play, so their servers were probably overloaded. It seems better now though.

Dammit. The game content is free, and yet the video cost 2 bucks? What is that?

Time to check youtube then! Woo! I guess it is fair considering the DLC is free.
I doubt they underestimated that fact, that was a major selling point for Brotherhood, there are just some things no one can predict about such an unpredictable medium such as an online server, and there were probably certain issues that didn't present themselves in initial testing. You see it with any online game really. Who knows though

Yeah, it'll probably be on Youtube eventually, if not already. But people might buy it to see it on their glorious HDTVs. Yeah, Ubisoft is a great company because they'll fix their stuff. I mean, they added the crossbow and faster gun fire in the single player campaign not because they wanted to, but because they listened to their fans. The multiplayer was just an experiment, and I think it did well. Of course, this means that the next Assassin's Creed game will likely have multiplayer as well, but they could just keep it Brotherhood exclusive, which would also be fine by me.

Ugh, They are clever. I hate the comic book style anyway. That got played out in 2007. It just looks like a sign of lazyness because they don't feel like doing hi res modeling or something.
I liked that live action thing they did in Assassin's Creed 2, I was hoping it was like that.

No, and I liked the live action one too. But I guess the comic book style is cheaper.
When I first saw the live action mini-movie, I thought it was a trailer to a Hollywood version of Assassin's Creed II. I was so excited for that. Hahahaha But I still enjoyed seeing Giovanni running around being an assassin.

Oh, they will definatly have Multiplayer in AC3, they are gonna change everything in that one, I'm sure. Just like they did between 1 and 2, plus the time period may be different. I'm thinking it may even be present day with Desmond. That or it may build apon the whole other race thing and it may happen there, although I doubt it. Either way, everything will probably change.

They should have done it that way. I guess it would be hard to find someone to play Ezio though.

I hope AC3 will take place in Japan during the 1850s. It would make sense because foreigners were entering Japan at that time and in Brotherhood they said that the assassins have a base of operations in Osaka. And I chose the 1850s because that was the time right before the samurai class was outlawed and American merchants ships and whatnot would be attacked by the Shogunate. There's conflict there that Ubisoft can easily expand on.
But people have rumours saying it'll either be in Japan, Russia, or present day with Desmond.

Hmm, indeed. Interesting. I think Japan could be kind of interesting, as long as the history is good. I just think the combat style would be odd, using such different weapons.
As for russia, I don't know the history there well enough to figure out if that could be good, I mean Ghengis Khan comes up a bit in the history, so maybe going back to that point or going somewhere else that theres potential of pieces of Eden in use. Desmond would have a lot of potential, because in addition to having Desmond to follow, an already familiar character, but also one would have the ability to potentially use the animus every so often to perhaps figure out some aspects of things, or like go into history at certain points to hunt down certain pieces of eden to learn perhaps their present day locations or something.

Probably. Ubisoft says that the Assassin's Creed series is an alternate history, so they can actually alter facts how they want. Well, people just say Russia because of Assassin's Creed: The Fall. It's a new comic book about one of Desmond's ancestors in Russia. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvzkZOLyqfg

Hmmm, actually I think I've heard of that. I think I saw it at gamestop the other day. That is true though. Where in Russia is it, and what era?
I still think Desmond would be the best though.

Late 19th, early 20th century in St. Petersburg. We'll see. Ubisoft will probably release a trailer at the next E3 and tease us with an ambiguous storyline and setting and then release the game a year later.

riiiiiiight
Yeaaaaaaah, prolly. Thats the new fad these days. The date will be just a year after E3, so it can have 2 reveal trailers.
I should make a game and have the design take 10 years to complete, and every year at E3, reveal 3 more seconds of the E3 trailer.

Yeaaah, I guess they thought somehow that 10 years later someone would still care about Duke Nukem. It's not like the game will be any less mediocre than all the other titles in the series.

It's just funny how people think that they've given up, then a random teaser trailer will pop up at a convention. Hahaha

It's not that they think they've given up, it's that they hope they gave up. Ha ha.
Duke Nukem wasn't relevent in it's own time, and isn't relevent now, the only reason anyone ever played it back in 95 was to see cheesy, pixelate stripper boobs and to shoot slow moving aliens, and they were often out of aliens. Now it's cheesier than ever, and theres no way in a market of more series military style shooters that duke will ever stand a chance.
