Ha ha ha ha, It's all OK
Damn, thats pretty complex if it takes that long to formulate a stratagy.
I've just been reading this Street Fighter guide that tells me I suck at Street Fighter and everything I do is wrong. It's hilarious. I like my style better, because I win with that.
In other news, I priced up my router and modem yesterday, so I should be on PSN soon once I get the money to buy the parts, I've priced up a pretty badass system though.
And I'm sad, GT5 is postponed again, but it should be soon now. Not only am I sad because I'm a fan of the series, I'm also sad about the potential negitive effects on PS3 sales this holiday season if they don't get it released before christmas.

Yeah, which ones? Don't you have that thing with like 40 NES games on it?
The last time I played NES was on my birthday, I was whoopin ass in Baloon Fight.
I'd play Mario, but my cartrage won't work... :niggasad:

Yeah, it's my 12 people against literally 70 enemies. I have to defend a castle AND defeat the boss which means I have to leave my castle unprotected as I track him down. Frustrating.
Why is GT5 postponed when they recently announced that they were working on GT6? Makes no sense.

Wow
Why not just let him come to you? Isn't that possible?
And I dunno, apparently Kazunori Yamauchi is a crazy perfectionist as well, I read an article where he said on the first game he ever completed, he released it too early, he worked on it too hard, sleeping less than 3 hours a night, trying to get it out early, and the game ended up sucking, and he vowed never to make that mistake ever again. But in this case, the game has been years in the making, I think it's safe. Although I heard they were late by just 3 days for release as well, so maybe it's just a production thing too
It will be out before christmas hopefully, if they know whats good for sales, because this game alone will sell systems, much less Brotherhood and Move.
I heard that Kart Racing was supposed to be in GT6, but ended up in GT5 instead. Thats all I heard though.

It... is. But I have to coax him out of his hole first. And then I could attack him with distance magic, but I'll have to kill his healer or else he'll never die.
It's really based on luck with my wyvern rider since he has the most mobility, though archers and bowmen can easily shoot him down... Oh, and I forgot to mention that there's a time limit. >_>
Oh game developers. Like true artists they are never satisfied. Hahaha

Perhaps then go all out on his healer instead. Kill the healer as priority one, with distance tactics like the archers and magic and all. Once thats dead, and you kill the other soldiers with defence tactics, then try to kill the boss at full force with all your soldiers.
Yeaaaah, it's true. I just hope the release date is announced very soon, so the price can start coming down so I can buy it.

The healer will die in one or two hits; they're always weak. He's just positioned really far away from me and there are a lot of units to get through to him.
I was thinking of running in front of the boss with my wyvern rider and getting into his range, and then retreating ASAP. Perhaps he'll stay close enough for me to lure him to my units. The main problem is that the enemy gets reinforced every turn and I only get reinforced once, on turn 7 or 8. I have 15 turns to defend the castle and kill the boss.

Can your rider take on the boss by himself? Perhaps send a taskforce to assassinate the boss, Use the rider and maybe one or two other units for that, and use your other units to draw the main forces attention towards the castle.

Yeah he could, but again, it's based a bit on luck. When I get reinforced, the reinforcements are near the boss so I could wait for them and use the reinforcements to flank the boss.

Thats another idea.
I'm not sure how the units work, otherwise I'd be able to give you a more indepth stratagy

Yeah I know. Fire Emblem is kinda like Final Fantasy Tactics, only a bit more complex. Fire Emblem WAS the game series that started the genre of Strategy RPG, after all. It really takes me back to the NES days when games were hard; coincidentally, the first Fire Emblem game was for the NES. Hahaha

Wow, indeeeed
Good thing it is hard, games need to get hard again, watching kids struggle with the easy stuff out there today is unfortunate.
And I figured it was like Tactics, I was pretty good at that, and I have a feeling I would be even better now if I bothered to start a file on my PSP. I bought War of the Lions over a year ago and never opened it.

I bought this game used, so I imagine that a kid got it thinking I'll be easy and when it wasn't, gave it back to GameStop. I remember playing Battletoads and Ghosts n' Goblins in preschool and never getting anywhere because I kept dying. Hahaha

Yeah, my neighbor owned Demon Souls for one day, and returned it the next day because it was hard. Kids expect instant gratification these days, nothing hard, just a cake walk to beat the game, so you can have the satisfaction of saying you beat the game and having the tropheys to prove it. The point is the challenge
I loved Ghosts n' Goblins, I still have lots of trouble today with that game, I don't even own it, I just played it online recently. It is a REALLY hard game though. Never really got to play battletoads though, I know of the style though

Yeah, I heard Demon's Souls was hard. I might get if I ever had the time and money. It's on sale for $30 right now though. But they purposfully made Demon's Souls hard by having healing items limited and low amount of save points. Fire Emblem is hard because you lack the strategy or you let your units die in an eariler battle; aka, it's YOUR fault, not the game's. Yeah, Ghosts n' Goblins was really fun, but it kinda scared me as a kid. Hahaha

Yeaah, it really is pretty tough, but he was bad at it too, thats another factor.
Yeah, exactly, if someone dies in an FFT battle for me, I reset and restart the battle, I never let units die. This game sounds better, since you can have far more units. If there was a game where I could command like whole armies, that would be awesome. Like, thousands of soldiers
Yeah, it is kinda scary, Ha ha ha, but how easy it was to die also made it scary. Like, you touch an enemy barely, you die, wind blows, you die, you trip, you die, You do nothing, you die. You really had to be REALLY good at that game to actually be good at it, lucky didn't exist. It was 110% skill, because luck was against you most of the time.

Yep. Though in most battles you'll have less than 20 units, you can have more in some chapters. I believe in the Wii game you can recruit close to 70 characters total. I let one unit die in an eariler chapter though since I didn't want to deal with invading a castle again.
Yeah hahaha. Though I have seen a guy on Youtube beat Gn'G without dying.

Argh, I can't believe this! I just found out that to pass the chapter I'm on that I could defend the castle OR defeat the boss. The game listed both options so I thought I had to do both... Well, guess I can beat it now. I can easily defend the castle using 4 or 5 units.

20 in battle, or 20 in total, because FFT had like 4 or 5 in battle, and then 20 in party. I would want a game where I could control like 2000 soldiers or something, have stuff like assigning ranks to certain soldiers, and using them to control the weaker soldiers, like issue commands to your direct subordinates, who would issue commands to your hiarchey and they would act based on what orders and plans you issue pre-battle, and being able to plan your attack custom, not have to follow some default plan and working around it, being able to plan every aspect of the battle and commanding soldiers on the battlefield and having to change the plan on the fly based on the outcome of the battle. It would have awesome online stuff too for commander vs commander battles. I invision it being awesome.
Two words. He cheated. I refuse to beileve it.

In battle.
And that sounds awesome, maybe you should make a game like that in the future!
And I dunno, it looked legit.

Oh, that sounds better, someday I'll play it
YES! Perhaps I should. I've always wanted to make a Dae Joyoung game someday, but my imagined format for that game was different. But I would have to make something like this though, and in a different universe it may be better anyway.
That just means he's a good cheater. No one is that good.

And these Fucking Kennect commercials are driving me insane. With their iffey tracking and all this, and yet they get all this hype compared to Move, which has a few commercials, but they don't tell anything about why it is the best, or about how it has playability in games one already has like RE5 Gold Edition and Heavy Rain, or all the other things that are so much better than the competiton.
