Around 9, I was fast asleep, but our doorbell rang so I got up. But when I got to the door, no one was there.
Goddammit Santa. I was trying to sleep in! xP

"Brother, I knew you would come." said a deep, grizzled voice from the darkness of the ancient wood. A warrior, clad in a red overcoat, lined with stoat fur, stood in the center of a clearing in the middle of an ancient scandinavian pine forest, blanketed in snow, under a pale moon. His big black boots were covered in snow, in which he stood shin deep. He carried with him an arming sword and buckler on his belt, and a large sack with his belongings over his shoulder. He was flanked by two tall elven warriors, wearing forest green mantles, leaning on longbows like walking sticks. "You have fought well this year. Unusually well. I sense your powers have grown stronger than they ever have been." The warrior called out into the forest. "I'm glad my tireless work doesn't go unnoticed." the dark voice replied, topped with sarcastic pleasentry, "It's nice to see you finally acknowledging my power. Have you come to submit to me?" "Ho, not even in your dreams." The large warrior chuckled. "Quite the opposite. I've come to restate my resolve." The old man's tone became very serious, "You have taken so many from us this year, those I sought to protect, and in their stead you have put those who have sworn allegence to you and your dark power. Well, I am here in this ancient grove to make clear to you, as clear glaciers, as clear as the pure snow, that you will not triumph. You speak like you think you've already won, and in my eyes, this arrogence will be your downfall. It is now that I and those who still believe in my cause will double and then triple our efforts against you, and you will learn that our power, the power of good, like the warmth of the sun, will drive away your cold darkness. So let this be a warning to you, Krampus; I am always watching." And with a powerful gust of wind, the old warrior returned to his sleigh and rode off with great haste and purpose, as he had much work to do.
