Oh thank god, the guy behind the new Smash Bros says that they removed tripping from the game. Now I can get back to dash dancing, random tripping was the most annoying way to balance a fighting game ever! xP I never tripped ever when I played Brawl, I have no idea what you mean.

It's this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rj3L08EFfRoEvery time you dash into a run there is a random chance your character will flat-out stop all movement and fall down, making you vulnerable, the random chance is heightened by trying to wavedash all over place, which was a tactic many competative melee players used. A lot of strategies in melee could not carry over to Brawl because of tripping; you could not dash cancel by tapping L, or control the direction of your aerial dodge. It made using a character like Fox or Marth almost worthless.

.............why did they add that? It seems like someone on the development team had a grudge against a fox player, because no one else benefits from this, it just damages the game
