Is it very hilly? I might have passed through that area when I got my evaluation and IQ test.

Oh yeah, latest reports say the storm is getting STRONGER, and moving faster, so Landfall is being extrapolated, they're actually trying to correct the NOAA report because the times are still off. The storm that was supposed to make landfall later tonight might now be arriving full power in 2-3 hours, with 90 mph sustained winds near the eye
also....I just heard a loud sound....a gutter might have just fallen off the house.......

I forget all the details, I just know the results were all over the map, which makes my full scale IQ of 110 a very large understatement to my ability, given that my score in one of the catagories was 136, I forget the rest
The full IQ test I took was 6 hours spread over 2 days and cost OVR like, $800 or something

I hear Chris Christie actually COMPLIMENTED BARRACK OBAMA as far as his disaster response.
You KNOW its a big deal now, washing away freeways is one thing, but THAT!? Thats the true forces of nature at work.

So according to The Weather Channel's Youtube stream, they aren't even calling it a hurricane anymore, apparently it is officially a superstorm now, because it merged with some other weather system, and lost some of it's rotation and it's center is less organized. Still huge though. High tide is on now at the moment, NYC, Jersey, and Deleware are getting blasted

The winds are really picking up now
OK, just lost it again as I was typing.
This was the post I was typing when the lights went out

So We're back, earlier than I expected.
So the power went out 5 of 9, and the winds got CRAZY. I just sat in the living room all night looking out the window, watching transformers explode on poles, it was insane, I'm honestly suprised our power is even on right now with how many blew, I just watched bright blue and purple flashes on the mountain until 11, then I fell asleep in my clothes at 12
I went out about an hour ago to scope out the damage, it was insane, I was gonna take my brother's camera and take some pictures, but it's missing. Branches, and pretty sizable ones down everywhere, sticks and leaves covering the ground. The cars are crazy leafy, but undamaged. Only one tree down in the back, it was a reletively small one. The neighbor's trampoline is wrecked, and some of our milk is sour.
Pretty wild night...

9pm to midnight!?!?! LUCKY!!
It seems like nothing man made other than the transformers took damage, so where you are you are pretty safe.

So it looks like Jersey got absolutely killed last night
Most of the AC boardwalk is totally gone, tons of boats are out to sea, and many of their roads are totally washed away and impassible. Wildwood is almost completely under the ocean, I think a few blocks of Manhatten are underwater, and most of Manhatten is shut down. It's pretty chaotic in these places still.

Holy friggen crap.
On the drive to school today, there were SO many HUGE trees down, damage everywhere, it was crazy! I didn't really realize just how bad it was until I actually just saw it. Plus, a lot of people still don't have power in my classes.

Yeah I know, around here only one little tree went down and a bunch of leaves got blown around. But Skippack and the area around the school got pounded apparently. The roof on one of the gas stations in Skippack looked like it was ripped up. All the stoplights around the school were all bent in different directions, it was so strange.

I've been looking at their game design program lately, though I don't know if I could ever get in i dont imagine their game design program would be incredibly competitive. either way drexel really isnt that selective, just expensive. you could probably get accepted but would really have to pound to pavement finding scholarships and such.

Any game design school worth a person's time is going to be over 40k tuition. eeehhhh

I think it's one of the top three game design programs in the nation. But yeah, I figured they aren't horribly picky, they are on a tier around Temple or lower, right? They just keep people out with price. When they say 40k tuition, is it per year or for all 4 years combined? They weren't clear on the website. And my other concern would be the fact that there can't be too many game design scholarships out there, since there aren't many game design schools.

I'm guessing it's per year. No school of that merit would be 10k a year.
