Yeah really! That would have been nice to announce it beforehand, just make some big press release about it or something! Or put a thing in the actual game in the news bar thing at the opening menu!
But of course, if they did that, then they wouldn't have had the idiots like me who decided they needed it THAT day so they could suck the $10 out of me instead of giving me advance warning to wait. Was that $10 worth it though? The loyalty they would have gotten from people because of the courtesy of them giving the people warning would have probably given them much much bigger sales.
I'm so angry right now

So I had a thought this morning, before I woke up, about an idea that would be really cool for the next Wii Classic controller perhaps for Wii U
A combination of the N64 controller, the Gamecube controller, and the Wiimote.
So it would be shaped like the N64 controller the most. It would have all the same buttons and everything, A, B, the C buttons, Z trigger, R, all that. The Z trigger would feel and pull like the Gamecube triggers, because those triggers were brilliant. The shape of the controller would be more focused towards the right hand configuration, and maybe even lose the left wing perhaps if they can fit the D pad properly on it still. The Analog stick will also feel like the Gamecube Analog stick. And of course it would have all the great features of the Wiimote, the wirelessness, the shake stuff, the aiming thing. And that would fit perfect into the design of the N64 controller shape, perfect for people who play shooters and such. I think it would be a great design, it would feel natural to old school players playing older games, and it's also a suprisingly ergonomic design. I think it would be perfect.

That sounds really cool, but I think Nintendo is beyond regular controllers at this point...
And this is not Nintendo related, but on TV today I saw a demo for Dark Souls and it looked amazing! It's not going to be a day one buy for me, but the graphics and gameplay seem improved though there isn't THAT much change which is a good thing. The guy they were interviewing say that Dark Souls was going to be harder than Demon's Souls, and I guess that's true because the guy they paid to play the demo died like 12 times. Hahahaha The only cons I saw with that demo was that when they release the game, they're shutting off the online for Demon's Souls and that Dark Souls was not going to be a PS3 exclusive, but it will also be available on the 360... >_>

Yeah, gimmicks only for them. I just wish they would have the classic controller like they did on classic Wii
Oh yeah, I read about it too, it sounds amazing! I love the fact that apparently theres supposed to be more free roaming and such, which sounds nice. ALSO ALSO, they have my job class now! YAY! I hope it's good! Also, apparently there are a lot of new job classes, not just my own.
And that sucks so bad! How long do I have to buy it so we can do some Co op and lay waste to the masses!? And yeah, definately not a day one, there are too many games in that time that we need now, like Team Ico, Batman, and Revealations. Plus all the older games I want still!

The servers are closing in October, though I've never personally played Co-op. Can you invite friends? I know that when I invade other people's worlds that it's random. Yeah, if I buy it, it'll probably be close to a year after its release. I'm still not that far in Demon's Souls.

I think you can, I'm not sure. I've never seen any of those items used before. I really hope you can, then we could beat the game like nothing.
Yeah, same, probably longer even, ha ha ha ha, I'm mad cheap about games, and I wanna tick a bunch of priorities off my checklist before approaching that.

I hope we can too.
Well, Demon's Souls was $20 like 4 months after it came out, that's one of the reasons why I got it. Hahahaha

Ha ha ha h ha ha, indeeeeed. I think after the initial wave ran home crying to their mommies after returning it screaming "IT'S TOO HARDDDDD!!", the price dropped significantly. I hope it happens again that way, I'd get it for $20.

Once, when I was much younger. My friend had the original game (and I didn't have a PSX) and he invited me over during Halloween and keep urging me to play over and over again. So when I finally did, my first thought was "I can't see anything." and my friend replied with, "Don't worry about it... Starting walking..." "... Follow that lady." "Okay..." "... Are you sure I'm going the right way?" "Yes. Keep going!" "Okay! " "Ah! Blood!" "It's fine, don't lose the lady!" ... "Ahhh! What are those things?!" "Run! Run! Ah, you died." Eventually I kept playing, though I got killed by the dogs like four times and by the time I got to the school I didn't want to play anymore. And then I had to go home in the dark, and I didn't want to leave without an escort for fear of giant harpies or dogs attacking me. He got me good. ;_; Those graphics are amazing, and I'm glad that he says that the controller feels comfortable, but he's no expert so Nintendo might still support GC controllers. You never know...

AWWWWWW!! HOW MEAN OF HIM!!
I remember me and my neighbor freaked some girl out at one of his wrestling shows once though using Silent hill stuff. She was like the wife of the promotor, and we were in this giant spooky warehouse, and she had to go to the bathroom and wanted us to escort her because she was already freaked out. So we got her to the bathroom, then turned out the lights in that part of the warehouse, and I sat in one place hiding making the radio sound, and my neighbor hid behind something else, and when she came out calling for us with the most freaked out voice ever, he walks out slowly with his shirt over his head waving his arms like the maniquin monsters from number 2 and she screamed so loud! It was hilarious, and terrible. I wish I got to play around in scary warehouses more often. I'd get you to bring that friend into that warehouse so we could get him back for you, h ha ha ha hha.
Number 2 would scare you too though, it's even scarier, and much better. I like those games because you get a choice between firearms and Melee, so I can play it. Plus, the story is mindbending.
I don't see it feeling too confortable. AND I heard that theres only gonna be one controller per system! So no more Local Multiplayer I don't think! Why call it a Wii if there is no WE in it anymore!? Lame. I hope it does, How would I ruin fools in SSBB if I don't have my trusty Gamecube controller?

Nah, we went back and forth on scary each other over the years, I was only seven when that happened though. Heck, I still get scared when I play RE2 on my PS3. Hahaha And sadly, my friend moved, so I don't even know where he lives.
But you're story was pretty funny. xD
I've seen a Let's Play of SH2. So yeah, I understand how it's scarier.
One, Wii U controller, but it's been confirmed that Wiimotes and Classic Controllers will work on the Wii U. Just no word on GC controllers.

Ahh, indeeeed. And that makes sense, because RE2 is insanely scary and awesome. How far are you in that?
Yeah, she hated us for a while, but eventually laughed about it.
It's so much scarier when you have to do the stuff personally, like walk into the room that you would be screaming at the scary movie character "DON'T GO IN THAT ROOM YOU IDIOT, THE MONSTER IS IN THERE!" Or when Pyramid head does something just to scare you or psych you out or something. Like standing at the end of a hallway just waiting for you. That scared the crap out of us. it's not the stuff that makes you jump, it's like your constantly freaked out. And you didn't get to the part in 1 with the Nightmare Hospital, now that freaks you out. H ha ha ha
Well yeah! But that means no 2 player Wii U games. And I bet those controllers are gonna be insane in price anyway. And I just thought of another downside to a screen on your controller, no more throwing your controller in anger!

Lost somewhere in the giant police station like always. xD I got the handgun upgrade and met Ada for the first time, and that's about all I can remember.
Yeah, freaking Pyramid Head. I hate him so much. xP Ah! Not a hospital! I hate those more. D:
I really don't know how it will work. I'm assuming you can buy more than one because what would happen if you DO throw the controller? Which I've never understood... Controllers are precious.

Oh indeeeeeed, so you've made it to the Library at least, and have started the search for the chess plugs. I just don't know if you've seen the Basement or the Interagation room yet..... Those are the scary parts.
Yeaaaah, he does a good job of being mean. And yeah, thats what I mean, hospitals aren't comfortable places anyway, much less the scary nightmare versions you encounter. Thats whats so psychologically scary about the game. What I love about number 2 is the fact that every enemy you encounter for the most part is symbolism.
Yeah I'd imagine, they look fragile too. And I know, they are one of the most important objects I own, but I'd don't know if you know this, but I've been known to have anger issues (I may or may not have had a reputation on some forums before for getting angry) But yeah, I've thrown a controller or two in my day, especially in my early days. It's a good thing older Nintendo controllers didn't have screens on them, otherwise I wouldn't be nearly as good at Marios 1 and 2 as I am, and my Genesis controllers were tough too. I've thrown a Duelshock or 3 as well, but luckily by that time I learned to use pillows as my target. now I only throw game related stuff by accident, like my Sixaxis, which I throw by accident because it's so light, ha ha ha ha ha. I leave my rage to screaming explitives at myself in my living room and punching my computer (it could only be an improvement anyway)

I got scared at the part when you open the door and the zombies appear in the doorway. Hahaha Yeah, Silent Hill 2 was pretty good. It makes you wonder why the later games couldn't be as good. Survival Horror games always lose their charm around the 3rd or 4th game since they tend to become action oriented by then. I once broke an N64 controller by pulling off the analog stick and I vowed to never break a controller ever again.

HA HA HA HA, I remember that! That freaked me out the first time. The Interegation room still scares me a little every once in a while, even though I know whats gonna happen.
Well, Team Silent left after Silent Hill 3, so thats probably why, ha ha ha h ah ha. The original Team Silent rocked. 2 and 3 were great games though. I guess you watched the whole playthrough then? Which ending did you see? there are 4 in number 2 I think.
Awww, thats sad! I love the Analog stick the most on that controller! But yeah, I've never broken a controller in any fits of rage, I love them too much to hurt them for real.
I died? Wha? Awww man! I didn't even know I was in that game!
Also, I just beat Infamous about an hour ago. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?!?!?!?! INSANE ending. It really ties up all loose ends, even ones you wouldn't think of. Awesome awesome ending.

If I play a scary game, there's a 93% chance I'll forget everything that scared me the first time I played and I'll end up getting scared by the same things over and over. xD Not the whole thing, it was closer to 4/5ths of the way through. I usually don't like watching Let's Play endings because I always would rather get the ending myself though I end up not playing most of the stuff I watch. I think the only Let's Play ending I watched was Chrono Trigger because that games has 14 endings and I knew that I was going for a different one, and I was treated with watching the LP guy get a funny ending where all of his cats fell into the time portal and the game ended with him chasing them. Hahahaha, I didn't even know such an ending existed, God I love Chrono Trigger. Yeah, it was after that moment that I learned that analog sticks were for thumbs. You can name the people in your party, and I make the food rationing easier I just made the two of us. I got to Independence Rock and died a day later. Hahahaha, wow. I find it amusing that you beat a game in less time than I spend playing it in 2009. Though I've always been a slow player, especially when it comes to first playthroughs. Took me months to beat SotC and now I beat it in 3 hours tops.

H A HA HA HA HA, Indeeeeeeed. Yeah, I don't forget, but I still get scared, how sad am I? Ha ha ha ha HA HA HA HA H HA, WHAAAAAAAAAAT!?! That is one ridiculous ending. But yeah, I almost never watch ends in Lets plays, only if I know I'll never play the game myself like Portal. I should play Chrono Trigger, I bought it like a year ago and haven't even opened it yet, except to see if the disks were there day one. Yeaaaaah, because It'd be weird if they made a finger analog stick...... Awwwwww! That makes sense though, it's just a shame I didn't have a weapon so I could kill that snake, and then somehow saved you from whatever diesese that was. I would have made friends with the Indians and stuff. Ha ha ha ha, wow. It's not that I rushed, I'm meticulous too, it's just that it was suprisingly easy. I've already got 100% of the territory, all 32 Dead Drops, and a bunch of Shards, but not nearly 100%, ha ha ha ha. Still close though, and I only need one more upgrade for True Hero. I'll be rushing through my Infamous playthrough though, I don't like being bad. I will be putting it in hard mode though so I can get that trophy. I think it'll be more challenging, but still not too too hard. I used to take much longer and would never beat stuff until I was at 100% perfect. Now I'm more willing to beat games then perfect them. Although I prefer beating stuff at 100% still. I've just missed so many game endings that I'm tired of missing them. ALSO www.gamespot.com/news/6318993.html?tag=newsticker%3Bheadline%3B1YEAH! WOOOOOOOO, Sony better sue these bastards for everything they have. And I hope they get shanked in prison.
