Yeaaaaaaaah, it's probably sad. Although when did he die in history? What year?
And if he's dead in the later parts of the game, who will replace his newly broken hidden blade!?!?!
I dunno, I guessss, but who else could throw down like that, Machiavelli? Ha ha ha ha ha

AHHHH!! That was a scary change, I like your old avatar better, but that scared me, Ha ha ha ha, that face just being so like...grrrrr and old and Ha ha ha ha I thought someone else posted for a second Hahahaha I guess that's what happens when you stick with an avatar to for 3 or 4 years. I can change it back if you want. If you like it, keep it. I wouldn't want you to have to change because of my stubborness. ....just don't keep it too too long, change it again to something else, or rotate other stuff in regularly, ha ha ha.

1519.
Oh crap! I didn't even think about that! There are some local assassins in Constantinople, maybe they could help...
Hahahaha, god no. Machiavelli never did anything on his own. He just wrote overextended books about how to be the best ruler and leader. It could have been a local assassin, but yeah, it's Ezio.

Yeaaaaaaah, exactly, ah ha ha ha ha, I never saw him fight in the whole game. He just seems to talk a lot. He seems almost like a hypocrite, talking about leading without doing it in any real effective way that it mattered.

Oh, so apparently Square Enix released a trailer for FFXIII-2 instead of Versus. I missed it somehow during the conference or something? After watching it, it seems like the whole first game was pointless, why did I play it? D:
Though I think my favorite comment on the trailer is: "No one asked for it, so here it is." - ZeroChance79 Hahahaha genius.

Oh! You got that game? Is it any good?
True. He is insanely cool either way. He doesn't get the stray beads though!
Also, that new costume that comes with the DLC, is that supposed to be like his Revealations armor or something?
AND WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!?!?! WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT!?!
It's like they really want this one to be the ACTUAL Final Fantasy. They are going to bankrupt themselves at this rate. God they suck, even the people who design the games think the company is poorly managed anymore, and their methods stifle creativity. I bet they canceled the other ones just for the purpose of wrecking the company beyond repair.

In other news, only caught the tail end of the Nintendo Press Conference, but I read a synopsis of the first half. Apparently the first half was DEFINATLY better than the second half
More Skyward Sword stuff introduced by The Shig himself, including a full orchestra, discribing the importance of Music in the Zelda games. He at one point pretended to take something out of a chest while the orchestra played the proper music for such an event. God I wish I could do that! That would be awesome! Just having an orchestra play THAT song JUST so I could pretend to take something out of a chest! AWESOME! Anyway, then it all went downhill from there, talking about 3DS. Good news: There will be a new Starfox! Bad News: It'll be on 3DS. So in other words, no new Starfox. Then they moved onto the new console. It's called Wii U. The controller looks like an obnoxious hunk of crap that I never want ever. They did however show that they are at least trying to appeal to the more Mature player, annoucing that Arkham City, a new Assassin's Creed, a Ghost Recon game, A Battlefield game, as well as a Ninja Gaiden game will all be on Wii U, and they did use rather graphic footage, more blood than I've ever seen at a Nintendo Press Conference before. Overall I think I would rather play with a ball attached to a cup than play with this stupid new Wii U.

I don't think any Okami game could beat the original, and Okamiden is a simplified version of the first game with hardware limitations which is why I hope that IF they make anymore Okami games that they'll be on the PS3.
I'm not sure if it is, but it sure looks similar. I got that vibe when I was playing last night. Hahaha
I don't know, Square Enix is divided at this point, with one half only working on Kingdom Hearts and FFXIII Versus who have a problem of getting their good games out, and the other half that brings out too many FF games for the sake of FF.
---
Yeah, the first half was AMAZING! A full blown orchestra playing classic (and Skyward Sword) Zelda music to celebrate the 25th anniversary, and Miyamoto opening chests and swaying to the fairy song. Miyamoto actually did the chest opening twice. Hahahaha Man, I want to see that symphony live, apparently they're going on tour. Oh, I've known for months that Nintendo was re-releasing Star Fox 64, I just wanted a new home console version.
I actually rather enjoyed what I saw of the Wii U, I can only imagine if Nintendo had started with the Wii U and there would be no denying that Nintendo would have and would still be in the number one spot of the console race. It doesn't look as gimmicky as the Wiimote, as this is a tool for use rather than a forced change to how people play. Thankfully there is less of a push for motion control and more of a handy second screen, which would work well for Zelda games and pretty much any game that needs an inventory. Plus, the Wii U will be 1080p compatible, backwards compatible, and just looks like Nintendo finally figured out that gamers don't want shovelware and would enjoy more 3rd party games. (and blood, apparently, the crowd was cheering during Ninja Gaiden 3).
I mean, really, if they just release that Zelda tech demo they showed during the Wii U video, they'll sell millions easily! Or that new Smash Bros. they announced. They got some cheers for that.

Ahh, indeed. I agree. Although I'm not particularly interested in seeing a sequal. Unless the ending sets one up, but I really doubt that.
Yeah, me too, it's really from out of nowhere they give the change in armor for no explicable reason. I am glad that they added it though, it gives the Revealations transition vibe, and it doesn't look terrible like the Brutus armor.
Yeah, the future looks super grim for Square Enix right now, I mean they have an Aces in the Hole, but who knows either of them will ever come out. I'd be happy if they did, but if either of them is a disappointment, consider them done for.
I KNOW I'm gonna have to look that up later! The Shig is the man. He's so amazing. I would love to meet him someday, he just sounds like the Di Vinci of our age. Yeaaaah, thats true. I hope we get a console version soon!
Honestly, to me it looks clunky and ridiculous. It's like the giant Atari Jaguar controller with a LED panel. I can't see it being comfortable to use! Besides, from my prospective as a Lets play viewer, this eliminates the ability to do Lets plays for Wii U games. I mean it does improve apon the Wii concept, but I've never liked the duel screen idea, since the original DS, it's just superfluous. And is the controller the console as well? Not once did I see any pictures or video of the actual console, just the controller.
It does look like however they are appealing directly to everyone they need to to stay in their place of dominance, though I don't see it being as sucessful as the Wii honestly, because of that controller, Hardcore players aren't gonna wanna use that massive thing for games that are gonna be cross platform anyway. For the new content however, you might see interest in that. I just wish they would go back to the regular old controller. And I'm glad their keeping backwards compatibility, it's annoying whenever developers takes that away.
Yeah, possibly. And with the new Smash Bros, I'll be excited for that only if I can play it with my GC controller. With my standard controller, I cannot be defeated.

I heard that it kinda does, which doesn't say much because Okamiden didn't follow the ending of the original anyway. There are some plot holes. Ah well, it's all in good fun.
I looked at the CG trailer, and Ezio's wearing different armor than the DLC one, but I'll have to check the gameplay trailer to see if THOSE are similar.
Square Enix has been a confused company since they took up the Enix label. What they need to do is stop releasing bad games, not that FFXIII was horrible, but it definitely wasn't their best game, being that FFXIII had a non-coherent storyline, most of the characters were annoying selfish pricks, and the battle system wasn't as dynamic as XII's. Versus would be a BIG relief compared to XIII, but I feel like it's dying after Square Enix's recorded $150 million lost in the past year.
Miyamoto is such a child at heart. He said during the conference that he has been playing Skyward Sword nearly everyday, and that his arms were actually tired this morning. Hahahah what a great job he has. Star Fox must live on somehow! Even through Wii U, I'll take it!
Hahaha, I guess it does remind me a little of Atari, maybe if it came in black as well. It looked smaller than the iPad, and if people are willing to lug those around, this controller must be comfortable. People said that the Wiimote looked uncomfortable too, but after they held it they found out that it was not so bad, and was a bit natural feeling for motion control. And yeah, I never thought about the Let's Play aspect or the 3rd party aspect, but I think one way (or the only way) for Nintendo to get ahead in the 3rd party market is to make the Wii U cheap at launch. Not under $250 dollars because that would attract casual users--which is something I think Nintendo wants to get away from--but definitely $350 or less. The controller is separate from the console. It was brief, but during the video of Wii U software there were several seconds where you could see a white box near the TV that looked similar to a Wii, but bigger. Of course, I didn't notice it until I saw the video a second time... And the President of Nintendo of America confirmed a separate console that supports this controller. He said that they just wanted to emphasize the control because it was something new to the market and he wanted to make sure that people understood its value in relation to the console.
I'm still trying to figure out if the Wii U will play Gamecube games; if not, I'll have to hang onto my Wii if I get a Wii U. But they definitely said that Wii games will play on it, but with little emulation to HD resolution. We'll have to see if the Wii U will support the GC controller. I hope it does, some Wii games use them.

There's a picture of the Wii U here: www.techspot.com/news/44141-nintendo-unveils-its-next-generation-console-wii-u.htmlApparently it's going to have an Assassin's Creed game on it, but I'll stick with Sony for that. And one of the comments go me thinking, Sony's original PS3 controller got sacked, so Nintendo might still have time to change their controller if it meets enough outcry but odds are Nintendo won't change it due to the fact that they love unusual controllers. I mean, the N64 controller was strange to people, and some complained that they didn't know how to hold it, and the Gamecube controller got flack for weird button sizes and arrangements. Plus we all know how the Wiimote was called out for it's un-controllerness and motion control feature. So maybe the Wii U is just the next notch in this long list of quirky controllers that Nintendo puts out. x3

UGH! ONLY SEA!!! UGH, I hate that! Thats the MAIN thing I hated about Wind Waker! I would like A sea in a Zelda game, but not NOTHING but sea, like a 60/40 split on the Overworld between land and sea. Like different big contenents and stuff, like Hyrule as one huge contenent, then maybe outside of that Termina, then maybe other different kingdoms, being able to sail around the entire world and stuff, having different new contenents with new kingdoms and stuff. Nothing but sea annoys me
Blech, looks like the Wii and the Xbox had a baby.
Yeah, no doubt, thats my thought about them trying to reach into the hardcore games, no one is gonna wanna be like "Oh, I already own a PS3, but maybe I should get a Wii U as well for all those hardcore titles!" As for the controller, like you said, they love silly stupid controllers, although I liked the N64 and Gamecube ones, I like an odd layout, but not annoying gimmicks. I personally hope this one fails, although we know it definately won't.
Whats the pricetag though? Thats gotta be expensive

That's what they said when I walked into my brother's room (he was watching the press on TV) and I didn't heard the whole story, but it sounded like Wind Waker in the air. Though Link can apparently swan dive at will and land in some... land below, and the guy they were talking to said that one aspect of Skyward Sword is finding dungeons and realizing when you're in a dungeon, whatever he meant by that.
No report on the price tag, though the President of Nintendo of America said he knew what it was, he just wanted to save the reveal for later since the Wii U won't be released until next year.
