I'll be recording G4's showing, in case I have to run errands or something. But I'll most likely watch it live with a giant bowl of popcorn, a 2 liter of Mountain Dew and a locked door.
I might be able to sneak onto my brother's laptop during the week since he'll have football camp and be a part of the chat feature on the blog.

Yeah, I'll be at my neighbors because he has cable and I don't, hah a ha ha. I'll bring what supplies I can gather, it'll be at 5 this time for me, so we'll have pleanty of time to prepare.
So wait, what about your computer? I kinda wish I had a laptop so I could find a way to chat during the show, like on here or something.

You read the other threads right, like the one I posted about a new laptop possibility in?

Yay! Sucks for Japan though, I swear their Prime Minister's behind this. And Jesus, the amount of trolls on the blog is staggering. Don't they have better things to do than attack the people who are celebrating the return of the store.

Yeahhh... he's gotta be, what a terrible person he is. KAZ HIRAI FOR PM!!!
Yeah I know! I swear all those people wanna do is complain. Even when it's good news, they show up and whine. It makes you wonder why Sony works so hard to appease these sad little children, I mean Sony provides their livelyhood, and this is how they thank them.

Anyone would be better than the current one. Makes you wonder why they have accounts there at all. -_- Also, to lighten the mood: youtu.be/pwUWTH5Jqr8Ubisoft seems like such a fun team to work with. I'm seriously considering them to be the company to join up after college as an intern or something.

Yeah, Kaz Hirai would just be particularly cool. But then he couldn't be Sony's CEO in the future, so nah, forget that, Shigeru Miyamoto for PM!
Well they couldn't complain without accounts.
Ha ha ha ha h ah ha ha, thats some pretty brilliant stuff, Where is their NA office? I hope not in Cali, since their main HQ is in France, that wouldn't make sense. If their office is on the East Coast, I'd consider working for them for a little while, since they are European and I'd love to travel to Europe someday. Dispite my terrible phobia of flying. That is before I start my own personal company.
And I would LOVE one of those Assassin's Creed shirts, that Desmond T shirt is awesome.

They have an office in North Carolina, and pretty much in every country that matters. I did see San Francisco on the list, and that's their main headquarters in the US... But they have a ton of offices to choose from to actually work on games.
I'm pretty sure that this office in the video was the one in Toronto or San Francisco. Because the producer of Assassin's Creed lives in Toronto... But then again, Ubisoft has 5 separate branches working on ACR, so both offices could technically be working on it.

Actually, it's most likely Canada because of their accents.

Those all seem like pretty terrible locations considering where their true home base is. North Carolina? They just found out about computers there. I think only a couple of years ago the people finally beat their livestock in national standardized testing scores. Did they build an office there just for shipping illegal mexican fireworks to Toronto? And Toronto? Do you know whats in toronto!? Canadians! AHHH! And not even wrestlers, just regular Canadians! AHHHHHHH! And San Francisco!? The Smug cloud would sufficate any normal human being who tried to work there. I'd be suprised if anyone working in that office had any time to do anything besides sniffing their own farts and buying coffee from Starbucks, how would they even have time to work on a game!?!
I'll just have to find another company then, I refuse to work in any of those places, the 3 worst places on this contenent.

I guess their Montreal location wouldn't work for you either. xD
They have a couple offices in Japan, and other parts of Europe.

Ha ha ha h ha ha, naaaaaaaah, prolly not
In Europe, I'd love to go to either Britian or Germany, though I'd prefer Britian because I wouldn't have to learn german, but in Germany, I wouldn't have to switch sides of the road when driving. I'm pretty sure SCEE's home base is in Cambridge in England, that or London, not sure.
Personally, I'd prefer to start my company in either Philadelphia or New York, probably New York, since NYC is awesome. And it would be close enough to Philly that I could just take a train and do cool philly stuff.

They have a German branch.
I dunno, it's pretty expensive to live in NYC.

Indeeeeeeeeed
Thats true. Philly might be better, and just do it the other way around, and instead travel to NYC from Philly. There must be some advantage to possibly working in New York though. Maybe if my company gets big enough, why choose? Just run a studio in both cities.

Maybe. Assuming that your company will most likely start with PSN downloadable titles, the office doesn't need to be that big.
Last night there were no playable demos, as some of them became available on the store anyway, but it would really be neat to have an exact replica of what people really experience at E3. And maybe have a conference room like a movie theater that has a live stream like if someone watched it on TV.
I don't know either, since my TV's in EST and I live in Mountain time! D:

Yeah, I'll probably just take something basic and addictive and start with a few things like that, something Angry Birds style, make some cash off that, then start the real stuff. Yeah, Media Molicule starter with what, 3 guys? I don't need a lot, I just need a strong team, quality, not quantity.
Wha? I don;t think the demos will come out until E3 starts. And how do you know theres stuff on the store? It's not up yet. And yeah, thats exactly what it is, thats why it's so awesome. And they do have that, you can actually watch the conference on Home. You can do, like, everything.
Ahhh!! I'm so confused, I hope we don't miss it!!! And what makes things more complicated, is that if it is PST, that means it starts at 8 local time, and if its 5 hours like you said, it'll be on until 1 AM! I'd definately not be able to stay at my neighbors until then. Maybe we will just have to watch on Home if all that is indeed confirmed. At least we can chat that way. But then everything will be dependant on your internet connection on what the quality is like, and I'm guessing it will be a bit overloaded.

I'm taking about last year. There were no demos available on Home, but a few made onto the store within a week or two. Like God of War III.
I just looked into it, everyone's definitely saying that Sony is starting at 8 PM EST. Awww, now that 5 hour conference seems less fun, but again, the 5 hour thing was rumor. It might still be only 2 hours like last year.
Kinda funny how Nintendo is going the next day though, after everyone else has gone. Hahahaha

Oh riiiiiiiight. But this year is apparently different, they didn't allow you to watch the conferences last year. They did build the virtual E3 booth though last year. I hope they do have the demos directly playable through Home, because that would be double awesome.
Damn... I guess thats why they were acting like it was gonna be on so late when they announced it. I really hope it is just 2 hours though. I hope Home's presentation is good, like it doesn't lag or anything. I just hope someone has a good stream if not. 5 hours does seem too long, how could you possibly fill 5 hours? I mean last year they announced everything that came out this year. Do you remember how much came out this year!? Ha ha ha ha. I think 2 hours is pleanty.
Ha ha ha ha ha, yeaaaaaaaaaaah, the last 2 years Sony was last, and like, an hour or so after Nintendo's Press Conference. But it sounds like it may be good to have their own day, considering Nintendo is announcing the details on Project Cafe, and Sony is announcing details on NGP, so now theres no chance either developer will overshadow the other. Each will have their own day for the big gasp. Although Nintendo gets the last word now, so they may come out the better of it, they are the big finale now.

Yeah, and last year Sony had the best kept secret. They got a friggin' truck onto the stage! Hahahaha
Well yeah, since Microsoft is just there (as in they have nothing to gain and nothing to lose), and EA is a joke to me, so those two are meh. Ubisoft is right before Sony, so I think those two will compete for Best of Show. The only things I can think about regarding Nintendo is their new home console and Skyward Sword. Seriously. The only other franchise that hasn't had a console release for years is Star Fox, and I think it's overdo...
I might still watch Microsoft's and EA's conferences since I have nothing better to do, but they probably won't impress me too much. The last time Microsoft impressed me was the creepy Milo kid from Kinect that had supernatural powers or something.
I think Sony sadly has the most to lose at this E3 since some of their customers have lost faith in Sony, and the majority of the audience are businessmen, not gamers. Sony's stock dropped during the outage, and for any large company in this day and age, stocks mean almost everything. Not that they dropped in a completely drastic way, it just dropped when it didn't need to. But then, Sony has the most to gain. They have the most first party exclusives, the best motion control, the NGP, and longest lasting, more reliable console of the generation. Microsoft may have the superior sprinter, but Sony has the power of the marathon runner.

Yeah! That blew everyone's mind! That was just awesome. And of course one of the greatest speeches in human history, up there with Barrack Obama's Inauguration Speech.
Microsoft has had the same press conference for the last 3 years. What have the got this year, Queers of War 3 again, and probably more junk for Kinect that no one will really care about. And is EA doing ANYTHING this year? Honestly? Oh wait, they have Battlefield 3 this year, but still, not that much. OH UBISOFT!! I forgot. Yeah, Maybe, both are prolly gonna be good, What else is Ubisoft doing this year besides Revealations? And yeah, Nintendo is always worth watching. ANd there DEFINATLY needs to be a Starfox, there hasn't been a good Starfox since N64, and all this motion control technology would be so fun to play Starfox with.
I wonder what they'll give away this year at Microsoft. I love how this year they are like the Midget wrestling before the real Lucha Libre show, who cares what they are doing this year?
Yeah, they have a lot to lose, true, but the chance for gain is so huge this year too, it's like the effect of comic relief after a really dramatic scene, except backwards. And the department that houses PS3 actually profited big this year, outside of the last month or so. Sony lost elsewhere in that case. But yeah, they definately have the most raw power at their conference this year, just enormous. You've got NGP, which will be absolutely huge, lots of games and such, you've got Uncharted 3, InFamous 2, you've got Twisted Metal again, I'm predicting a possible Move Price drop, if they are interested in getting a bigger edge in the Motion War, which I'm sure they are, and I'm sure there will be some exclusive stuff for Revealations the way there was for Brotherhood that they'll have. And who knows what other big suprises, maybe some info on Verses XIII, and MAYBE info on Rising. And god knows what else, they blew our minds last year, I'm sure they'll do the same this year. Also, Kevin Butler. Just Kevin Butler. And by the way your metaphor is very apt about the business stratagies of these two companies

EA has a bunch of games coming out that I don't care about. Ubisoft has a number of interesting games besides ACR. Such as Child of Eden, I Am Alive, Might and Magic IV, and From Dust. Though the Assassin's Creed IP is definitely their strongest one besides Splinter Cell and Might and Magic I would love a new Star Fox that was a legitimate Star Fox game. Not the Dinosaur Planet shenanigans of the Gamecube. Maybe they could make a game about James and his crew before he died. I can only say what WON'T be there, which is TLG. But everything else is pretty much up in the air. :3

Oh, and I read on Wikipedia (take that for what you will) that Ueda is considering putting the TLG demo in the ICO/SotC Collection.
