At a dilemma here. Just look at these release dates:
Okamiden - March 15th Pokemon Black/White - March 6th Marvel vs. Capcom 3: FTW - Feburary 15th Nintendo 3DS - March 27th Portal 2 - April 18th Team ICO Collection - before E3 Journey - rumored to be released by E3 or just after
My birthday's on March 9th, if anything I'll just get Pokemon Black.
But man, just in the first half alone this year has good games and systems coming out. Guess I'll be getting a job now. I can't possibly buy all those on day 1.

No doubt about that, damn. If I had money, I'd help you get what you wanted. You should wait on some of those though, until they come down in price, besides, you won't be playing every single one at the same time anyway, just get the one you want most, and wait for the others. And don't worry too much about 3DS, you never get the first iteration of a system no matter what company makes it, the first one always has glitches, you wait for the second iteration, or at least wait like, a year before getting it so all the major glitches get out of the way.
Whats Okamiden? Never heard of it.
Also, I'll be trying out MVC next week, My neighbor will be getting it the day it comes out, for christmas he got a pre order of the collectors edition.

Yeah, I was thinking of waiting on the 3DS. The last time I actually bought the first model of anything was my GBA. It's just that it's being released at the same time as everything else hahaha
Okamiden is the sequel to Okami, though it's not made by the same exact team (obviously). But I think it'd be fun to play even if it's not the sequel I was hoping for. But reviewers say the ending of Okamiden hints at more games in the future which may or may not be a good thing... I don't think Ammy needs a whole franchise.
Nice, I hope to get it by E3. Hahaha
Btw, do you want a new computer? Odds are I'll be getting one in May and I don't need it. Not sure on what the specs will be on it though...

Yeah, If you look at any first version of a system, there are always problems, or it's inferior in some way, like the PSP 1000, the iPhone 1, the original DS, the 20GB PS3, The 15000 PS2 in Japan I heard had a lot of bugs, and so on. It's always good to let the bugs work themselves out. The price usually comes down too as an added plus.
Is it the one with the little cartoony looking Ammy? I worry about that look. I want the classic style. And Clover are the only people to trust with such things. And yeah, I don't see a franchise working for her story.
Ha ha, maybe, I'll tell you if it's any good. I'll get it when it's cheap. I want Super Street Fighter IV first before I buy MVC 3 unless it's particularly good.
H A HA HA HA, What an odd question. What's the deal with whazawha. I'm a little bewildered by the question and what it could possibly mean.

Technically, it's Ammy's son, but yeah, that's the game.
According to Gameinformer, MVC3 is great, but it lacks some features that Super Street Fighter IV has like tournament mode. Oh well, maybe in future DLC?
Well I certainty don't need another computer. Hahaha I was going to give to my brother but he has a laptop now.

For DS? Ugh, it looks so inferior! It's not the epic adventure of the previous game, and it looks like they tried to cute it up for little kids.
Well thats fine, I rarely use Tournament mode, and online no one ever starts tournaments anyway. They could add it though I bet, it seems like a lot of DLC is coming for this game, especially compared to the tiny amounts SSFIV has recieved, only costume sets, and we know for sure MVC 3 has 2 confirmed DLC characters. I wanna see more though, the cast seems so small compared to MVC 2. I want most of the street fighter cast and X men like there was in the previous game, where it felt like you could play as ANYONE. Plus, I wanna see Cammy added so I can use my already aquired SSFIV skills as her against a wider range of opponents in a tag environment.
Oh my god, I would feel terrible accepting something like that, like, thats such a big thing, especially if I have nothing to offer you in return, how could I take something like that from you for free!? Besides, what if you need a backup or something

Yeah, well I think I'll wait for some people to upload some gameplay online and make my decision to get it or not. I really wish they had continued from where the first game left off and had made a PS3 sequel, not a DS one.
Well, I'll be happy with MVC just because I haven't played a fighting game since Mortal Kombat for the N64. Unless you count Super Smash Bros. Hahahaha I just miss the days when I could fight my friends for hours and mass buttons and get excited over a special move because none of us knew about any real combos. It was a simpler time.
Nah, it's cool. I'm only getting it because of my good attendance. I'd be honored to give it to you, really!

Yeah! Exactly! That would have been so much better. I mean imagine! Move support! It would be a perfect sequal! You could build apon the concepts of the last game so well, with all the original features plus new ones. The DS can't do the game justice.
HA HA HA HA HA, yeah, I was the same way with Mortal Combat for SNES and Genesis. I eventually figured out most of Sub Zero's moves. I remember getting excited like that though too. I was even like that with Super Street Fighter IV, until I started practicing and started to understand how to do stuff, then I practiced and became a beast. I think you'll be able to do the same with MVC, since it's the same game. And even if you can't pick up the tricks, theres always simple mode, Ha ha ha. But MVC 2 is a good started to learn on as well, since it also plays like SSFIV, and you can learn the stratagies quickly for switching characters at the right times and stuff. I wish I still sucked so we could practice on each other and get good like I did against my neighbors, ha ha ha ha.
I am unworthey! How could I possibly accept!? I would crumble even holding this holy relic!!

Ha ha ha, ohh, riiight
Well thats no fun, at least in a few months you'll be free like us, your almost there, woooo! I guess your not quite in that portion of school where you barely need to even show up, because your senior project is done and nothing is actually going on in school itself.
I would have felt terrible if I had offended you thinking I was just being some sort of terrible ingrateful person. Honestly, if you would feel better about it, and it would help you in some way, and it wouldn't cause you any trouble or anything, I could make myself accept.

Ooo, I should add Child of Eden to the list. That is said to be released this year, though the exact date hasn't been released.
...
Hahahaha, I guess I can't pass up rhythm games. They're my guilty pleasure genre. :3 Except for any games where you have to buy a plastic guitar or whatnot, because it's lame to use anything other than the standard controller in my opinion.

Wait, what? What is that game? I've not seen anything about that one
Hmm, interesting. I haven't played very many rhythem games, much less ones that don't require ridiculous extras. And yeah, I agree about the standard controller thing, except for in cases like Move, and I've always kinda wanted to try one of those ridiculous expensive driving wheels with Gran Turismo, since I'm hoping the expensive wheel is better than those lame cheap ones that you used to be able to get with PS1 and N64, that were mad inaccurate and lame, Ha ha ha ha.

Really? Ubisoft's opening at E3 last year was a guy playing Child of Eden. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKivlywog-oObviously, this guy's using Kinect, but you can play it using standard controllers and Move as well. I think my love of rhythm games came from when I got Frequency for my PS2 and literally played it for weeks on end. It was a blue disk, and it's probably the reason why my PS2 rejects them now, like it's saying: "Nooo, not that game again!" Hahahaha Oh Frequency, I wish you were available on the PSN, but the fact that you're a music-based game probably means that Sony would have to renew copyright stuff when the original artists.

Well I never saw the Ubisoft conference, I only saw the Sony one, Ha ha ha, and I think I saw the end of the Nintendo conference, that was about it
Woah though.. Thats incredibly confusing, Ha ha h ha. Also, and I don't really need to say it, but that Kinect tracking is straight up terrible. But yeah, what exactly is it that your doing in that, Ha ha ha ha
And maybe, I dunno, I actually think I saw that game somewhere the other day. I've actually not checked to see if Blue disks work on my PS3 yet. I think I remember seeing a review in that game in one of my old Playstation Magazines years ago. I dunno though, it could happen, if the demand is big enough. I mean they made MVC2 for PS3.

I think you have to hit certain lit up points on the screen. Hahaha I dunno, it looks amazing and it's a rhythm game so I'm getting it. Hahaha If you ever spot Frequency, grab it. It's one of the those games that didn't sell well, but it's leagues better than Guitar Hero and such games. Frequency was actually made by Harmonix before they moved onto Guitar Hero and it was their first game as well. Oh well, I loved the free style mode in Frequency. And it's mostly techno music, so if you don't like that you probably won't enjoy the game, just a heads up.

Ohhhhh, riiiiiight, that makes more sense.
Yeah, if I do, I will, I wanna see what it's all about. The cover looks cool though, so I think it could be interesting. And of course, I have no problem with techno, it's good stuff. It looked like Audiosurf from what I saw in the magazine, is it like that?

Hmm, I just looked up Audiosurf. I guess they do play similar, but Frequency seems harder/ more complex. Probably because you have to play eight tracks at the same time in Frequency. Hahaha Audiosurf gets props for a more diverse music library though.

Yeah, I just looked up Frequency, that does look way more complex and better. I love the old school look of it, like that barely after PS1 look. I love that.
Yeah, I've seen that played before, it's interesting that they just use any music on your hard drive, I wonder how they do that. It seems less focused on the music than Frenquency though.
