FUCKING FUCKING HELL do I HATE that term.
PS, can ANYBODY in the whole fucking world name an RPG not from Japan?
I can think of exactly 0. Whoever made up that term was a bigot and a fucking retard. Although those two terms typically go hand in hand.

Oblivion, Dragon Age: Origins, and Mass Effect are considered WRPGs. People say the differences are set storyline, closed world, cliches (JRPG) vs. open world, choose your own adventure, maybe not as many cliches (WRPG). Personally, I don't use the different terms very much, if at all. If I say RPG, it's from Japan... Though here's something interesting: www.videogamer.com/news/ff13_director_explains_the_jrpg_wrpg_divide.html

They are RPGs, and what does W stand for in WRPG. They aren't different terms, they are racist terms, it makes no sense. Thats like saying a rock band from PA is in a totally different genre from a rock band from NJ. What they do makes them different, not where they are from.
When I say RPG, I mean a good game, when I say shitty game, I mean among others, Oblivion, Dragon Age: Origins, and Mass Effect. They try too hard to pretend to be different, when they are just the same thing with shitty elements from other games trying to look different, replacing innovation with cheap immitation.

W stands for Western.
Yeah, I agree with you. An RPG is an RPG. Even though a game like Pokemon is drastically different from Final Fantasy, they are both RPGs. The JRPG acronym must have come from the same people who created the acronyms J-ROCK and J-POP...

That annoys me so much. They have generally similar themes so they are quite similar. Also, J-Rock is the same thing as American rock and rock from anywhere else, femenie pussies singing about gay stuff, nothing different except the language
Ugh, I hate stupid people.

Stupid people? Quite. I remember reading some comments on Youtube a few months back. One was "How are those Japanese games RPGs?! " and there was "JRPGs are killing the RPG franchise! Theyre soo dumb!" I want to digitally slap them. But I can't.

H A HAH A HA HA HAH A
That is infuriating to the point of hilariousness.
I would have digitally crushed them. I smashed a few Bigot skulls on a youtube video recently, it was nice.

Yeah, crushing Youtubers is fun. But I noticed that on certain videos, there are no dumb comments. Videos such as Cowboy Bebop OST videos, Nujabes videos, Toonami videos... Anything awesome is void of dumb people for the most part. And anything remotely dumb is immediately jumped, eaten, and spit out before the comment is deleted.

Indeed. It really allows me to get my flame on when I need it.
Well yeah, it seems that way, every different video is it's own little gathering, but morons find their ways into pleanty of good videos though, although there are certain things that are inpregnable like you said, like ICO videos, or certain types of music have good gatherings. It's a facinating world
