well I can understand why. the show has no content whatsoever. WALRUS'S SUMMARY OF A DBZ EPISODE (30 episodes really because it takes forever to beat the bad guy): new enemy comes goku and friends are too weak to fight him some people get killed enemy gets a power-up somebody (usually goku or gohan) gets a burst of strength that somebody kills enemy they bring back the dead people with the dragon balls!!!!  that was literally how the show went. the entire plotline could probably be condensed to one episode but instead each episode consists of "ughhgh he's so strong! i can't beat him! huff huff huff". Eventually after watching about 30 episodes, something actually HAPPENS and then cartoon network would rerun the beginning of the thirty episodes so you got to watch goku and vegeta huff and puff and whine about how strong the enemy is. |

I saw DBZ in German when I visited London when I was eight. Anything in German, and I mean anything, is hilarious. I don't know how people were able to take Hitler seriously.

Walrus, from what I gathered, you don't like lovestory animes like Fruits Basket and DN Angel. (Edit: Just the anime versions right?)
But you also don't watch many fighting anime like Naruto and Dragonball Z.
What is your taste in anime then?

DBZ was the better out of DragonBall and GT. GT was really disappointing. No. The original dragonball was the best. The fights didn't last 10 episodes and kid Goku beating the crap out of all the adults is always fun to watch. No super saiyan powerup either. Goku doesn't need that. |

DAMN. Fuck okay what about Fullmetal Alchemist? Pichu, it's a matter of opinion. I'm just obsessed with all of the different powers levels and the ways the characters were illustrated in DBZ, which I didn't feel much in dragon ball. Also, lots of more cool characters in DBZ too, like future Trunks, villains like Broly, the androids, and super buu. They were all kickass. |
