Increasing the specs of the hardware risks developers testing the game on the new hardware and having the game not work on eariler models. And at what point does the upgraded hardware stop being the same console?
Maybe tonight if you want, I am busy today and it's super hot, like wtf sun go away D:

I guess so, but I feel like stuff like the upgrade they did to the N64 could have happened, or they could have just put a prevision into the conditions for being published on Playstation that made sure that developers made their games compatible with old and new systems, so they could have made upgrades to the OS for cross game chat or something, though I suppose that would have complicated firmware deployment so I guess that makes sense.
I feel two different ways about it, because I know you have a lot to do still to get your house in order, but I would like to see you get better at Unity and begin putting together a better prototype. I just know we had come up with some new additions we wanted to implement and I wasn't sure if you were able to yet, like that camera change, and stuff to do with that projectile motion formula

I came across this channel, and he has some interesting videos, imcluding this one on one of the modern trends in game design. youtu.be/jCmmYF4rOwoDuring this video, it occured to me that I have never really like crafting systems. Even when it was simple like RE's weed combining, I would just prefer to have a new weapon or item that doesn't need sime TLC to get working right. The only crafting that felt right to me was in The Last of Us and that it was probably the combination of immersion and how it balanced the game, esepeically in terms of the multiplayer. I remember in ACRMP when they changed the abilities to have stats instead of just being "Long Lasting" or "Strong". What if I want two forms of the ability on different loadouts for specific counters to other people's playstyles Ubisoft? Ugh. Right now in ACB I have long lasting poison one on loadout and fast acting on another because it depends on the lobby.

He's just a whiney player, ignore him
If he got anything else, he'd hate that too. The worst part of all this is the people who made these games were making games they thought people would like, because these kinds of games are the only game the internet seems to want at the moment.
Crafting is a good mechanic at it's core. I enjoy certain elements of crafting, if it's done well. It is considered one of the "types of fun" if you remember that lesson from game design class. But right now, people are oversaturated with crafting mechanics, because designers right now think that was the reason Minecraft made so much money, and want to cash in.
I feel like in a year or two people are going to get tired of Crafting like they already are with FPS games, and something new will come of it. I think people right now want right now are simpler games, to fill the void that FPS games left behind. Less menus and more raw gameplay. I feel thats part of why mobile games are doing so well, because they are all simple gameplay mechanics.
People just need to find a way to translate this into a console paradigm. Find a way to streamline their complex interactions in a fun way, that is simple, yet engaging and not completely mindless.

I find this videos nice, he actually made me realize that Raiden's real name Jack has an additional meaning I didn't consider before... that he is the "jack" the player uses to hardwire into the game, similar to Link from Zelda games. I mean, I already put together colonel = kernal and the big shell = shell system from a computer, but I forgot that jacking had a definition to it too. And I didn't know that Raiden mentions that he has completed VR training missions only if you play the Tanker mission before the Plant mission, and since Snake says that VR doesn't 100% reflect reality we might've never been in control of Snake in the first place. Kojima also incorporated cut content footage during a flashback scene to the Tanker, indicating that Snake remembers the events differently. MGS2 is great that there are no definitive answers.

Oh yeah, I guess that Jack thing makes sense.
Of course he does, because on your first playthrough you HAVE to play the tanker first........
And the footage they show is mostly from MGS VR missions.
And that was just a stupid online fan theory from back in the days before MGS3 and 4 where people were trying to justify negating Raiden's existance by having the whole thing having never happened.
If Raiden controlled the Tanker chapter as part of his "VR Training", he would know what Snake looked like, and not only that would have been aware that Snake didn't destroy the Tanker and wasn't a terrorist, and would have known that the tanker wasn't an oil tanker. He also would have immediately known who Olga, Ocelot, and Otacon were.
Fans were having stupid fan theories long before the Grey Fox Body Double theory.

Also, how does Ocelot still have the piloted MG Ray Marine model if it didn't happen?
And why then would Fortune want revenge for the murder of someone who died in a simulaton, the Marine Commandant that Ocelot shot during the Tanker Incident?
It's like poking holes in Moon Hoax and 9/11 conspiracy theories, too easy.

That weapon customization is amazing. It puts the Drebin system to shame.
I hope it's available in MGO
Awww, DD! He's so great
Yeah, he's supposed to be able to speak russian. WHy do they make snake dummer between iterations.
I understand the mechanical purpose, but still...
Awww, DD is always happy, even though hot sand in his face, ha ha
DD in my opinion looks like he might be a little OP though.
God, what were they thinking with that music, ha ha
....REALLY!? Those wheels SHOOTING SPARKS and whirring super loudly are nearly silent? No. No they are not.
That Metal Gear thing is so cheesy.
The combat is even more intense than GZ. Wow.

Well there are stories of people losing second languages after a brain injury so it's not completely out of the question.
I dunno, it's hard to say how OP he is. They did mention that the game was modified for demo purposes and so maybe DD was strengthened up to make sure he didn't die or something. I did hear him take damage.
The only thing I thought about the music was that LPers can't listen to it because copyright hahaha

Oh, and we're going to the furniture store today so I might not be able to get on Skype until this evening. My mom wants to get a couch. And after that we might be going out to eat. I think she'll be home within an hour or so and I have to do a house inspection before these painters leave to make sure they did everything right.

Other things about the demo I liked
> Quiet's default outfit is "Naked" hopefully implying I can dress her up in actual clothing and not have to look at her ridiculous default in cutscenes. > I think I can dress up DD as well :3 > I think I remember seeing KojiPro on the patch at the end.

I guess so, but still, it better be part of the story then
I wasn't refering to combat, obviously. Thats not his role. I'm talking about his support ability of him like automatically spotting everything in the area, it oversimplifies the stealth gameplay. You KNOW anyone who gets a Big Boss emblem in this game is gonna be abusing DD.
Good, though why would you watch an LP of this game, this is one worth playing
I hope you get a desk while you are there.
That also implies that you thankfully shouldn't be able to undress her further, which is also a good thing
Yeah, I don't doubt that. You can definately dress up the horse, ha ha. I like how DD sits in the Jeep, such a good dog :nigga:
Yep, they added it back, I have a feeling Kojima did some CQC on his boss to get his job back.

Maybe. His markers might be temporary though over BB's analyzed ones. I like to watch MGS playthroughs after I play the games so see how people approach the same mission differently. It's fun to see other playstyles. Yeah, though I do wonder why Kojima insisted on having this look be her default one. Naked Snake wasn't the default in MGS3 after all. I know it turned off people from the girlgamers subreddit from even buying this game because they didn't want to support Kojima's prevy tendencies. And some of those same girls praised the older games for The Boss and Sniper Wolf and such and were disappointed in Quiet's design and how Kojima went "she looks like that for plot reasons." It looks stupid no matter what the plot reasons Kojima... Oh jeez, that horse is gonna be in the copper. I can't even imagine how silly it looks xD Mor elike he probably put a bunch of references in the game without telling Konami and now it'll take too much time to find them all and remove them hahaha

At first I thought you meant Beast Boy, not Big Boss, ha ha ha ha. Still though, Big Boss Emblem players are gonna abuse this so hard
Yeah, but I mean, the first few playthroughs have to be yours, so you can get caught by all the different suprises, find them all yourself
Because boobs. And MGO2 Waifus. The MGS fans did this, no one else.
Kojima has been a perv for years, this is nothing new. They are just being over sensitive hypocrites if they played the other MGS games and not this one.
HA HA HA HA, yeah, though more likely the horse would be towed underneath the helicopter or something
Well the trailer at E3 was probably made during that rough period, but that gameplay segment was probably designed after, because it seems like the references are popping back up again after disappearing for that little while. I have a feeling Kojima is back in business. Or successfully committed a coup and has taken over.

HE BETTER! I LOVE DRIVE FORMS!
I was under the impression that Drive forms were already back, since it looked like he was in Valor form in that one scene, and the drive gauge was on screen.
Awww....It's probably because reaction commands were part of why the game was waaaay too easy. I liked reaction commands though...

They were free damage, but they really did add something fun to the game. They could have kept some like Reversal, where it wasn't damage, it just put you in a position of advantage. They could have also just limited the amount of times a reaction command presents itself. If they made them rare, it would be cooler
