So the Volvo has run it's course. It has some annoying electrical problem that is driving me crazy, and I'll go bankrupt long before I find it is seems. It served me well in it's years in service. But now, I must be rid of the Batmobile, because theres a new machine in town I went from Batman to Bruce Wayne up in this Oh yeah, and I have a 1994 Volvo 850 for sale. You know, if anyone is interested in coming to PA to check it out.

If your old Volvo and my car had a baby it would be dead on arrival. I like the pictures though, trees! :0

Nah, if we combined the two cars, we might have an alright car, since yours runs, but is barely holding together, while mine sometimes starts, but is solid as a rock and safe in a crash.
Ha ha ha ha, theres a Mercedes in the shot and you are looking at the trees!? Ha ha ha

There's a car in the picture?! Oh, the pale yellow one in the corner?

Wha?
The one in the center, it's a blue Mercedes C class!
What yellow car? Hah a ha
Are we looking at the same pictures?
I'm looking at the background now and realizing how Pennsylvania that background is, ha ha ha With the tons of trees and rickety ass wooden fences in the background, ha ha ha

This car has possibly the coolest cassette tape holders I;ve ever seen.
And the headrests for the back seat flip back when you push a button so you can see when you are backing up! GENIUS!
It doesn't have the stock head unit though which means no tape player which means no AUX until I get a new headset that supports AUX so I can play my PSP

That second picture looks like you have monster in your car. Like, I see a face.

Face?
Where? All I see is the reflection of the tree above the car, and the pink sky from the sunset I just realized, ha ha

Look past the windshield and look at the tree in the back window. It looks like a crazy ghost face to me.

I'm studying it carefully, because you know our yard, it could be a ghost, but I'm looking at the original blown up to full size and don't see anything
There are two trees, which one? Ha ha ha
I don't know if you are maybe just seeing the headrest inside the car?

So I've been doing research on head units, since I'm tired of listening to the one CD I have already. 18 songs will only get you so far
So, What I'm looking for is a Single Din Head Unit with an SD card reader and an AUX port, that looks alright and works. Preferably with a big volume knob. I hate small volume knobs. I don't even care if it has Bluetooth or a CD/DVD player or any of that other nonsense
Also, find one with high customer ratings.
I guarentee you right now you will not find one
I think there is only one community in this world that has the "ur doin it wrong" mentality worse than the DS community.
It's the Car Audio community. NOTHING has a high rating. Even videos TALKING about this head unit or that head unit have on average a 60/40 like dislike ratio.
So if theres anything I've learn in the past few days, it's that all headunits are terrible.

At this point it would be easier to buy a cheap mp3 player

It wouldn't though, because my head unit only has a CD player and radio tuner, it has no AUX port to hook into to use an MP3 player.
It'd be easier to have the stock head unit which was a cassette tape player
Heres how I want it to work.
I basically just dump all my music onto one of my expensive, professional grade SD cards I needed to buy for Video production class, which has 4 times more memory than my PSP and weighs effectively nothing, that I have no other use for. I put it in the car, the car plays music. I want to add more music? I pop out the SD card, pop it into my laptop, add more music, pop it back into the car, and MAGIC, it works.
There are also ones that supposibly read USB flashdrives, so I could get a slim form factor one of those and just replace the process with one of those
But alas, there is no head unit that ANYONE can agree is any good.
It seems like there are two camps: the people who love a head unit, who just got it, and the people who have owned a head unit for 6 months and hate it. Technically theres a third camp of people who just hate any head unit that isn't bluetooth compatible, but I hate those people.

I need to take a picture of it again for the Craigslist ad, but I need to clean it first...with no hose. That'll be hard
Oddly enough, same as the last one, except this one is way nicer. Old man cars rock.

Since we have no hose, we needed to fill buckets of water and just throw them on the car to clean it. It was incredibly ghetto

One of the buckets was a repurposed flimsy garbage can
I felt like I was doing that mission from arkham assylum where you had to walk quietly on the platforms if I didn't want croc to eat me
