SHIT NIGGA, looks like this'll be a regular thing. here's what mindtv said:
"Unfortunately, the producers of the Korean News have decided to stop production. On 35.2/globalMiND, the Korean News was packaged with the soap operas in a two hour time slot. Now that the news has been pulled, we can no longer accommodate the soaps on the 35.2 schedule due to their odd lengths which exceed standard half hour program length for television. In place of the Korean News and two soaps, we have decided to air some of our older epic dramas since most of them are standard hour length."
this sounds like they'll be reairing SEVERAL old dramas during the same timeslot from now on. adkjadhjagdjd!!!!

Oh my god. Could you imagine this down the road.
After age of Warriors is over, Smackdown somehow becomes better, and they run Yi Soon Shin. Could you just imagine the world being so right once again?
I think I wanna go the MiND site, throw on some Teddy Pendergrass, and father it's children now, just to thank it for this.

Ok, so, old school drama is awesome. I love how completely insane some of the people are. Also, I love seeing the actors that are old in newer dramas being so insanely young in this one, like Lee Dakwa or however you spell it, AKA Xue Rengui. And I remember so many of the other people, except it's been so long that I forget all their old names, which is kind of annoying, because they aren't new to me, but they feel like it. I have to get back into the rythem of watching a drama again, like as far as remembering names and such.
As far as the actual story, since this is episode 4, I'm slightly confused about some details, and I'm not sure who are technically the good guys and who are the bad guys, so it's sort of odd. I mean I already like Dae Jungsang's character, he's some cool soldier guy who is resisting the insurection. The story so far seems to be about this insurection. At this point, they already have control of the palace, in the begining of the episode, the rebel leader convinces the main army to pretty much turn on their leaders, Yeon Gaesumun among them, whose like, "If I command them to attack now, they will definately turn on us" so they submit after the Superior Commander of the main military has a talk with the rebel leader. It's pretty wild though. The only thing is, I can't exactly figure out who is the good guy, because they all seem pretty bad at this point really, but like, it really has that classic feel. Also, it has that charm that Yi Soon Shin had for extremely terrible production values, except extremely lower. Like, the sound effects are nice and terrible, not a lot of editing, so smaller mistakes are generally kept it seems, Like this one guy had to grab at his armor like 20 times to pull this letter out, and it looks like this one soldier trips while opening a prison gate, and the guys riding the horses don't look well trained, so most of the horses go really really slow, like to the point that the guys running behind them have to run really slow to make it look like the horses are going faster than they are. Also, the subs are really REALLY slow, so they are way harder to read and kind of awkward at some points. They are easier as far as reading everything, but it feels weird because they miss some statements, and sometimes someone else is talking by the time the last sub disappears. I love the old school badassery of it though, can't wait to watch tommarow

Aww yeah, That was awesome indeeeed
I know! And I think I saw the one guy from Sejong, I forget his name, the really awesome minister. Also, I think the emperor that got deposed was the Salt Merchent from Yi Soon Shin. And the one general from Dae Joyoung too
It blows my mind to see Xue Rengui looking so young, and having such a minor looking role.

I think I saw one of Yi Soon Shin's generals in there too. Also, the Empress Dowanger is that one bitchy old woman from the end of Empress.

Yeah, that was insane! I was losing it when he was just like whateva bitch. That nigga straight up crazy
I dunno, if you mean Yi Ko, double sword man, then nah, it couldn't be. I know the one captain Ui Bang arrested after that captain arrested all the other generals is definately one of the guys from Yi Soon Shin.

Holy fucking shit that episode was amazing.
When Ui Bang catches the whip, that was insane, he put that bitch in his place.
Then when Lt. Yi walks out after his falcon attacks the Jurchen and he just calmly and in an organized fashion kicks every single one of their asses. That was fucking awesome.
Plus, I saw a duct taped spear, and I kinda noticed something else, but I forget what it was.

Yeah, I missed shows where stuff happens, it is a welcome addition. That was fucking awesome in so many ways, it was like "Lets get this over with." It was just so incredibly badass

another cool little part was when lt. yi threw his axe to that soldier and the soldier almost fell over and struggled just holding it.

HA HA, Yeah, that was incredibly badass. Lt Yi is definately the hardest core badass on this show so far, but there are a few of them. But Lt. Yi makes every single one of them suck his dick and then calls them gay for doing it.
Oh yeah, and Lt Yi's Axes are very VERY obviously wooden. This show makes the CG bears look Hollywood Quality. I just love the bad special effects and props in this show so much.

yeah, for real. you dont need no special effects to make this shit convincing, its convincing because the people doing it are badasses.
i dont know, it's between lt yi and ui bang.
