I mean, he IS an asshole, Yami was the one who probably gave him that card. I mean, that would be on the low end of bad things Yami has done to people.

I want a show actually about card games. I want a story about a kid and his friends playing the game and starting to get really good at it. They decide to join a tournament and about six months before the tournament a new, super gamebreaking card is released.
The kids scramble to find booster packs containing this card, but are limited by their allowance. But eventually through the power of friendship and trading entire decks, they snag a couple copies of the card.
The next few episodes the kids build up their decks to be perfect, their win-ratio with this card is very high! They even devised a way to counter the very card itself but it's a unique setup that takes a lot of turns and planning.
The month before the tournament, the protagonist qualifies and is uber excited. The same week, the card is banned for being too meta-centralized and he has to scramble to put a new deck together, creating new stakes for the audience to invest in.
Instead of being about life points and throwing a bunch of strong monsters in a deck and hoping that their numbers are bigger than the opponent's. I want the story to show off just how fun TCGs are, and how much true strategy is involved. Even before the game begins with deck building and understanding the meta.
I want a show about card games.

I mean, anime people will watch pretty boring stuff, but that might even be too boring for anime people, ha ha ha
If you want that, just make a documentary about a real life Yu Gi Oh players, call it "The King of Cards: Fistful of Booster Packs"

With enough expository dialogue anything can be dramatic and exciting!

Welp, this is their chance to dump Roman guilt free.
Though, I would not be suprised if this was some sort of setup, like WWE knew they couldn't just "release" Roman after just how hard they doubled down on him, giving him the title multiple times, and the fucking Undertaker at Wrestlemania. At this point, the only way to get rid of him without admitting defeat would be to blackball him like this. To me, the first "Wellness Program Violation" and the Cena shoot were warning shots.
Though if it isn't a setup, and they decide to keep him around after this, they're just stupid. This is a golden opportunity to cut him loose while saving face and not having to admit the Roman Reigns experiment was a failure.
Also, aww, Funaki did steroids!? Say it ain't so! :niggasad:

This is way more entertaining than I thought it would be (also, hello LK's English accent, you are slipping back in sometimes) youtu.be/WwGFCUyg_qMThe part where he commentates Jaden's opening move slayed me, hahaha I had to pause the video xD

Of course the show starts with the main character being late for school. The tropiest of anime tropes.
Ha ha hah a, Yeah, good thing the instructor at a duel monsters playing school can't be like "actually, you aren't allowed to summon a card in defense mode, you are disqualified", ha ha ha
God, did they adapt that pilot from a fanfic? Ha ha ha
I don't think I'll be watching this series, ha ha

I'm actually enjoying the GX videos more than LK's wrestling ones. "Thanks Jaden, for ruining everyone's time with your shitness." Hahaha
I wonder how many episodes GX has.
...
Oh no.

Most anime today have 13 episodes, I forgot about the days where they went on forever.

And yet, I bet the ratio of filler to useful content is still the same.

Not really. Most just end abruptly and it makes me wish they still did 26 episode shows.

I'd call that a horse taking a bump, with a kid on it's back
I didn't know horses could do that...or would do that willingly.

The duel disks have screens now. Also all these guys have the same face. Do you want to know the reason?

I think the answer is the same answer to most questions that relate to Yu Gi Oh spinoffs: Who cares?
I'd guess it's because of a bad artist

They're dimensional counterparts that used to just be one person, spilt into three! (The fourth protagonist is not pictured)
The premise is that there is a card game war between 4 alternate dimensions, each represented by a card type, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz and Pendulums.
But more importantly, what dimension does Rescue Ferret come from?

Rescue Ferret is from wherever Link Summons come from
God, new Yu Gi Oh is better when you don't know whats going on and just look at the cool looking cards, ha ha ha
